Teaching ProcedureStep1.WarmingupFirst, look at the pictures. One is a turtle, the other is a rabbit. Make an introduction-“more outgoing”. Lead in the topicpersonal traits and the target language-comparative degree.Step2.Presentation 1.Teach the target language. How to compare the rabbit and the turtle by using comparatives with r/er/ier/more.2.Let the students have a try.Step3.Practice 1) Ask students to practice some words with comparative degree group by group.2) Play a comparison game. Show students five pictures one by one, and then use the pictures to compare different people. Pay attention to the key sentence pattern: A+ be +形容词的比较级+than + B.3) The students in groups practice the sentences.Step4.Listening1) Page 17, 1b, talk about the picture, listen and number the pairs of twins in the pictures from 1 to 3.Then check the answers.2) Listen again and complete the conversations.
