Module 1 Our Body and Healthy HabitsI.教学内容分析本模块的话题围绕学生生活习惯、饮食起居、健身运动和疾病症状等的英语表达展开,进而介绍了一些国家的医疗保健情况,指导学生学会表达自己的见解和观点,最后通过进一步的讨论使学生明白什么样的生活习惯才是健康的,培养学生爱好体育锻炼、注意身体健康的意识。Introduction 这一部分先复习和学习与饮食健康有关的词汇,并通过Activity2的活动进行巩固;接着列举了一些与饮食健康相关的谚语,最后通过对Activity 4 中问题的讨论使学生对中外有关健康的谚语表达有个初步的认识。Vocabulary and Reading 首先通过回答问题的形式复习和学习更多有关饮食健康的词汇,然后学习两篇介绍中国学生Zhou Kai 的短文并完成相关练习,培养学生的综合阅读能力。在情感态度上,通过Zhou Kai和其母亲的观点冲突和Zhou Kai对自身生活习惯的描述,帮助学生了解什么是健康的生活方式,以及如何养成健康的生活习惯。Speaking 1 首先通过两人活动和小组活动来讨论如何保持身体健康,并且就生活中有关健康的重要事项发表自己的观点,然后通过讨论达成共识。Function通过观察节选自阅读文章的句子体验如何表达将要发生的事情;并通过练习来学习和巩固Grammar 1 这一部分是学习名词作动词用的意义和用法,并通过练习使学生有初步认识。但是不强调要学生掌握具体的理论知识,只是初步了解和掌握一些实例。Listening and Vocabulary 先通过单词填空和回答问题等活动导入有关身体器官、疾病症状、询问病情等的词汇和表达,为听力活动扫除词汇障碍,然后通过完成听力活动来培养学生获取信息的能力。Grammar 2 通过观察节选自听力材料中的句子使学生清楚will和be going to的区别,并通过后续练习使学生掌握其用法。Pronunciation让学生听并跟读听力中出现的句子,注意其中出现的连读现象。Speaking 2 让学生通过完成对话掌握询问病因、描述症状、提供帮助的表达法。Everyday English 通过对话,学习一些常用的表达方式。Writing要求学生通过事情的逻辑关系将句子按事情发展的先后顺序排列,并通过模仿学写一篇有关自身健康问题的小短文。Cultural Corner 通过阅读来比较三个西方国家医疗保险体系的优劣,使学生对西方的医疗保健制度有一个初步的认识。Task 通过对健康问题的调查,让学生展开讨论,反思自己是否有健康的生活习惯。Module File 对整个模块的学习内容进行小结,巩固本模块所学的知识。II.教学对象分析1. 学习者学习态度的分析本班大部分学生学习态度积极,求知欲强,思维活跃,乐意听老师讲解、踊跃参加课堂各项活动,总体学习氛围较好。2. 学习者起始能力的分析本模块的主题是与人们生活息息相关的健康及医疗。如今,人们对于健康生活方式的意识越来越强烈,对于如何保持良好的身体素质有极大的兴趣,养生成为了人们茶余饭后的谈话焦点。“身体是革命的本钱”,对于正在成长发育中的青少年来说,健康显得尤为重要。通过本模块的学习,让学生认识到什么才是健康的生活方式,养成良好的习惯,初步地了解国内国外的医疗系统。3. 学习风格的分析本班大部分学生属于依存型及内倾型。依存型学生受环境影响明显,他们更容易在集体情境的学习中获得快乐,并在集体中表现出积极,顺从。但这类学生在离开老师的指导后,学习变得被动缓慢,消化知识的能力较差。内倾型学生不轻易表露情绪,这让老师无法感知学生的心理状态,也无法及时了解学生对当前知识点的掌握情况。综上所述,清楚全面地了解学生的学习态度、初始学习能力及学习风格,对于促进学生的学习有极大帮助。因此,教师应针对不同的学生采取相应的教学策略,在教学过程中作适当调整,以尽可能地提高教学质量。Module One Our Body and Healthy HabitsI. Step 2 IntroductionT: Since you know the way to keep fit, what illness do you know?S: Catch a cold, stomachache, flu and etc.T: Yes, youre right. Lets move to Activity 1, there are some words and expressions in the box. Do you know the meaning of them?(Explain each word.) T: Do you know which of them are connected with illness?Suggested answers:flu get / catch a cold toothache T: If a person has good eating habit and take exercises, he will keep fit. However, someone doesnt pay much attention to it. Do you have healthy habits? S: Some says yes, some says no. T: Well. Lets move to Activity 2, there are eight sentences which may describe your diet or healthy habits. Lets read them together. Then you should tick the sentences that are true for you.(Ss tick the sentences.) T: Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle? S: Someone says yes, someone says no. T: Well. We should pay more attention to our lifestyle, because it is very important for us to keep fit. There are some proverbs in Activity 3. Do you know the meaning of them? Who can explain them for us?(Ss discuss and show their answers.) Step 3 Presentation T: You did a very good job! Next, lets look at the photo on the next page. What can you see in this photo? S: A boy. T: Yes, a boy! Whats your impression of the boy? S: He is handsome. He is tall and sunny. T: Can you guess his hobby? S: He likes playing football. T: Yes, we can see he holds a football in his hand, right? This class we will learn something about Zhou Kais lifestyle. Step 4 Reading T: Before we come to the text. Well deal with some words in Activity 1. Please do it quickly. 3 minutes later, well check the answers together.(Ss discuss.) T: Ok, lets look at the following questions. What are the meaning of those words when we first learn them?S: 头,眼睛,饮食。T: Thats right. Which word class do they belong to?S: They are nouns.T: Thats right. However, do you know which word class they belong to in the two sentences? Are they still nouns?S: No, they are verbs.T: Yes. Here, they are used as verbs. Now, lets find their meanings. In the first sentence, what does the verb “head” mean? Does it still mean “头”?S: No, is means “向地方行进”.T: Good. Quite right! What about the word “eye”? Thats the meaning of the title of Grammar in this module: 名词动用.
