基本信息课题 人教版新目标英语七年级(下)Unit5 Why do you like koalas?Section A(1a-1c)作者及工作单位 韶关市曲江区马坝中学 冯伟平教材分析 本课主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的有关描述动物的形容词,学会表达个人对动物的喜好;学会运用why引导的问句,了解动物的外形,并能运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物,让他们理解动物是人类的好朋友,进一步培养学生热爱动物,保护动物的感情。学情分析 1、七年级学生的年龄小,思维活跃,对未知领域有强烈的求知欲望,对英语有较强烈的兴趣,但对语言功能在实际生活中的运用不会太重视,未能充分理解目标语言的重要性。 2、学生此前已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句句型,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。形形色色的动物能激发学生的好奇心,产生了解它们的欲望,这有利于本单元知识的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。 教学目标知识目标: 1.学生学习关于动物名称的名词koala, lion, elephant, giraffe描述动物的形容词cute, smart ,friendly, beautiful;学习并掌握重点词汇tiger, elephant, panda, lion, zoo, animal, map.2.学生理解并掌握的重点句型: Do you like animals? What animals do you like? I like pandas. Why do you like pandas? Because they are cute. 能力目标:通过谈论动物及喜爱的原因,提高学生的听、说、读、写能力。情感目标:激发学生热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。策略目标:调动已有知识,为新学知识创造条件;根据情景推测句子含意。教学重点和难点教学重点: 学习本单元的词汇,用why引导的特殊疑问句,用because表示原因以及形容词的使用。教学难点: 准确使用形容词对自己感兴趣的事物进行描述。教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生行为设计意图StepI Lead-in(Review some words about the animals).Greeting the studentsAsk the students to say the animals they have learnt . T:Oh, These animals are our old friends. Today I am going to a zoo. Lets go to the zoo to see more animals. Would you like to go with me?Look at the pictures and say the animals as many as possible.通过复习关于动物的单词,调动学生的学习积极性。通过图片把学生带进一个动物园。StepLearn some new words Show some pictures of animals.T: Look at the screen, please. Lets see what animals we can see in this zoo today. (Show them the picture of a tiger.)T: Whats this? Its a tiger. Read after me, tiger.Ss: tigerUse the same method to teach lion/ giraffe/ panda/elephant/ koala . Please read the words and try to learn them by heart Play a guessing game: finish 1a.Enjoy the pictures and read the new words after the teacherGuess the animals.Ask and answer in pairs like this Model:A: Whats this/ that? B:Its a tiger A: Whatre these/ those?B: Theyre pandas. finish 1a.创设真实情景,激活已有知识,学习新知识。学习新词汇时注重学生的发音练习, 注意元音字母及组合的发音规则。使学生很容易地将单词的音、形、义结合,并快速掌握。另外猜词游戏也很好地激发学生的学习兴趣和参与热情。Step Learn the description words: and pairwork The teacher askes Ss to discuss the following questions with their partners (Do you like animals?/What do you think of the?)The teacher shows pictures of animals and learn the adj. words to describe animals. (interesting,fun,scary,friendly,smart,cute) Pair work A: Do you like animals ?B: Yes,I do.A: What animals do you like?B: I like pandas.A: Why do you like pandas?B: Because they are cute. The teacher guides and helps the students 。 discuss the teachers questions with their partnersLearn the new words and talk about the animals.生动的图片可以留给学生更直观的印象,进而更快的识记新词汇。通过提问,使学生表达出各自对动物的感受,可以使学生的语言更加丰富,也更具个性化,并为听力打好语言基础。Step listening The teacher plays the tape.After listening, let Ss imitate after the tape.Listen and check the animals in 1a you hear . finish 1b.imitate after the tape.通过听力和模仿训练,使学生在真实的情境中学习描述动物和句型,符合语言认知规律,提高学习效率,培养学生听音、理解语句的综合能力。 Step Group-work Let Ss make a survey about their classmates favorite animals and the reason. (1c) Model: Lets see the lions. Why do you see the lions? Because they are cute.Work in groups of four and act out the conversation.Make a survey and report. 倡导合作式学习方式,培养学生用英语做事情的基本技能,让学生体验使用英语的成功。StepSummary Summarize the important words and language points with the class.Sum up the key points.由学生总结本课的主要内容,培养学生的归纳总结能力,逐渐的学会学习。Exercise.Present the exercises and check the answers .Discuss and do the exercises.通过练习巩回要点,反馈学习效果。HomeworkFind out at least eight animals you like. Choose your favorite animal and tell friends your reason.Search some information about what the animals are from.Write down the homework.look and think“Animals are our good friends.
