And what the team spirit means.【Teaching Difficulty】 What is a narration? What is the way of writing a narration? How is it formed?【Teaching Steps】Step I : Leading in1. Through the soccer game in May on our school soccer field,let Ss say their opinions about the winning and losing. T: Are you familiar to these pictures on the screen? Ss: Yes, we are. we had a soccer game, and at last our team won .That made us very happy.T: Now I will interview the captain of our soccer team. The questions are on the screen.Captain: .T: Ask another student about the losing team.S1: .(Purpose: The topic will make Ss very interested ,because they are very proud of the soccer game. It is easy to lead in todays lesson. Step II Fast reading(Through the whole passage) T: What type is the passage? A:exposition(说明文) B:narration(记叙文) C:argumentation(议论文) D:practical writing(应用文)(Purpose: After looking through the whole passage, let Ss know the form of this passage. Then we can analysis the passage easily.) Step III While-reading Task1. Fast-reading. Number the event in the correct order. (2,4,1,3,5) Peter missed a goal. Peter got home and went into his room. Peters father gave him advice. Peter talked to his teammates. Peter realized that he was worried for no reason.(Purpose: After fast reading, let Ss know how the story happened, and then how to write a narration firstly.)Task2. Fast reading.Part 1 The beginning Paragraph 1 Part 2 The development Paragraph 2-6 Part 3 The ending Paragraph 7-11Task 4 Careful readingPart 1 Paragraph 1 T: Reading it carefully, then know Who did it, and what did he do, when did it happen, and where did it happen?S: Peter missed scoring the ball.(Purpose: According to who, what ,when, where. Ss can make a whole sentence.
