Blackboard-writing:Unit 2 My familyA Lets learnWhos that man? womanHe is my father.She mother5. Teaching Procedure:A. Greeting:T: Good morning, guys.Ss: Good morning, Miss Xiao.T: OK. Sit down, please.B. Warm-up:First of all, lets chant Ten Red Pens together, OK? Now, lets listen to another song. (Where are we going, father?)C. Presentation and Practice: a. T asks Ss about the name of the song and lead to the word “father”.b. T shows a picture of her father and asks Ss ”Guess! Whos that man? ” And Ss will reply ”Father. ” Then T should say ”Yes. He is my father. Today we are going to learn the sentence Whos that man? ” (Blackboard-writingWhos that man?)c. T teaches the word ”man” to Ss by asking them to read and spell after T. Then T should asks a line of Ss to spell it independently. Then T should teach the phonetic symbol of ”a” to Ss. In the end, T should asks Ss to read the sentence after her.d. T points at the photo and says ”He is my father.” (Blackboard-writingHe is my father.)e. T asks Ss to practice the word ”my” after her, such as ”my hand”, ”my eye”or ”This is my hand.”f. T: Now, lets learn the word ”father”. T teaches the word ”father” to Ss by asking them to read and spell after T. Then T should asks a line of Ss to spell it independently. Then T should teach the phonetic symbols of ”a” and ”th” to Ss. In the end, T should asks Ss to read the sentence after her.g. T: Now, I will give you one minute to practice the dialogue with your partner.(partner test)h. T shows a picture of her mother and lead Ss to say out the word ”mother” by saying ”This is my ”(Blackboard-writingmother) i. T: Look at me! I can do magic. Whats this word? Ss should say ”father”. T nods and says ”I will change fa into mo. And thats mother.” Then practice ”father” and ”mother” together. (Showing a word card of ”father” and then change it into “mother”.)j. T teaches the word ”mother” to Ss by asking them to read and spell after T. Then T should asks a line of Ss to spell it independently. Then T should teach the phonetic symbols of ”a” to Ss. In the end, T should asks Ss to read the sentence after her.k. T: And when we say mother, we should change ”He” into (”She”) Then what is the question? (T points at the blackboard.) Ss should say ”Whos that woman?” (Blackboard-writingwoman)l. T: Look at me again! Lets do magic. Whats this word? Ss should say ”man”. T nods and says ”I will change man into woman. See?” Then practice ”man” and ”woman” together. (Showing a word card of ”man” and then change it into “woman”.)m. T teaches the word ”woman” to Ss by asking them to read and spell after T. Then T should asks a line of Ss to spell it independently. Then T should teach the phonetic symbols of ”a” to Ss. In the end, T should asks Ss to read the sentence after her.n. T shows a photo of the family and says ”This is my father. This is my mother. This is me. We are a family.” Then T plays the video of Family.o. T points at the screen and says ”In this video, letter F, letter M and letter I are a family.” T changes the photo and says ”In this picture, they are a family, too.” Then T should teach the chant sentence by sentence to the Ss with gestures.
