教学设计方案课题名称:What were you doing when the rainstorm came?姓名:王静工作单位:阜阳实验中学学科年级:八年级教材版本:人教版一、教学内容分析(简要说明课题来源、学习内容、知识结构图以及学习内容的重要性)本课是人教版八下第五单元,在现在进行时态和一般过去时态的基础上,展开过去进行时态的教学,谈论某个重要事件发生时,正在做什么事情。这是继一般现在时态,现在进行时态,一般过去时态的第四种时态。本课是让学生在听说活动中感知新时态,并能够写出过去进行时的句子。二、教学目标(从学段课程标准中找到要求,并具体化为本节课的具体要求,明晰(学生懂)、具体、可操作、可以依据练习测试题)重点及难点(说明本课题的重难点)新的课程标准,构建了以综合语言运用能力为核心的课程目标体系,把学习策略,情感态度,文化意识整合进来,构建了综合语言运用能力为核心的课程目标体系。根据新课标的要求,在本课学完以后,学生可以讨论过去发生的事情,可以用合适的时态讲故事,知道学习的重要性,学会小组合作。尤其,掌握was/ were + doing,这一基本时态结构三、学习者特征分析(学生对预备知识的掌握了解情况,学生在新课的学习方法的掌握情况,如何设计预习)通过前面的学习,学生已经掌握了一般现在时态,现在进行时态。对于动词的现在分词构成,was,were 的选择都已经熟练掌握。学生通过预习,找出新时态的基本构成。四、教学过程(设计本课的学习环节,明确各环节的子目标,画出流程图)Step 1 Warming-up and lead-in (about 3 minutes)1) Greetings2) Teacher asks students to watch a short video and find out what he was doing and where he was at the time of the rainstorm.3) Teacher talked with students: T: (After watching it) What was the man doing and where was he at the time of the rainstorm? S1: S2: T: All of you did good jobs. After watching it, we can find that the man was in Philippines and he was drinking wine, dancing, taking a shower and swimming. Today we will learn Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Step 2 Presentation (about 5 minutes)1) Discussion (four students in a group)Ask students to guess what the teacher was doing when the rainstorm came.T: Yesterday was rainy. Work in pairs, think about and discuss where people were and what they were doing at the time of the rainstorm.S: 2) Ask the group leader to report the answers.Step 3 Practice (about 10 minutes)1) Finish 1a: Match the statements with the people in the picture.T: As everyone tried your best to think about the questions, now please open your book, finish 1a.2) Check the answer of 1a3) Listening comprehension 1b T: Well done, everyone. Yesterday, I interviewed 4 friends after school. They are. . Do you want to know what they were doing at the time of the rainstorm? Now lets listen to a report and circle the correct responses. Please pay attention to “was/ were+ doing ”.4) Help the students to summarize the sentences about Past Progressive Tense.Step 4 Consolidation and Extension (about 15 minutes)1) Role playAsk one students to make a conversation with the teacher as a sample.2) Pair work. Make a conversation. Ask your friend (Tim, Anna.) what she/he was doing at 8 or 9 last night. Write down the answers.3) Make a survey.
