教学设计禹门河小学 赵淑洁课题:Unit3 At the zoo Part A Lets learn.& Lets do.教学目标知识目标:1 能听、说、认读以下单词:tall, short, fat, thin。2 能运用所学形容词来描述动物的特征,并运用句型Its 。3 能听懂指令,并根据指令做出相应的动作。能力目标:培养学生的口头表达能力、表演能力。情感目标:教育学生要爱护动物。教材分析小学英语三年级下册Unit3Atthezoo Lets learn.& Lets do.的内容,本课时要求能够熟练运用tall, short, fat, thin形容词,并运用Lookatthat,its来描述看到的动物。Lets do.部分是对所学新形容词的总复习,学生以唱歌谣的形式达到巩固的目的。学情分析 三年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段,这一阶段他们的主要任务在于激发学习兴趣。他们有着极强的求知欲和表现欲,好动活泼,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣。因此,在设计教学活动时,我借助肢体语言,Flash动画等创设直观的教学情景,采用玩玩、猜猜、做做、说说、唱唱等灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,让他们在丰富多彩的活动中来学习,体现寓教于乐的教学形式。同时,课堂尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语。教学重点 能运用所学形容词tall, short, fat, thin来描述动物的特征。教学难点 单词thin的发音。教法与学法 直观教学法,动作反应法教学准备多媒体课件 教学过程一、Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhao!T: How are you?S:Im fine, thank you. And you?T: Im fine, too. Nice to meet you.S: Nice to meet you , too.二、Lead inT: Have you ever been to the zoo?S: Yes.T: What animals do you know?Ss: Tiger, panda, monkey, bear, and so on.The teacher acts like some animals, and students guess what they are.(monkey, tiger, rabbit, elephant)T: Today, our some old friends are coming here. Lets have a look at who they are. Do you wanna see them? S: Yes.T: Lets go.Play the PPT.T: Here are so many animals. Are they cute? Do you like them? So we should love and protect.三、Presentation 1)Now, have a look. Whats this? (the first PPT shows some animals: giraffe, cat, monkey, panda)The teacher asks students “Whats this? Who knows?”If someone can answer this question at once, the teacher should give him/her appropriate praise. If not, guide them to know the answer. In the part, lead in the giraffe, and teach it to let students perceive the word for the first time. T: This is a giraffe. It is tall, right?2)Next part, look! How tall is this giraffe? (180cm) How tall is this monkey?(70cm) So we can see, the giraffe is tall,播放录音,感知发音,板书tall,拆分音节教授新单词t, t, t,-/t/t/t/, all-/:l/, /t/-/:l/ - /t :l/ ,and the monkey is short.(拆分音节sh/ ,or/:/, t /t/,/ -/:/- /t/-/ :t/ )。 Practice: 1.Learn the words together. 2. boys read “tall ” 3 times; girls read “short” 3 times; 3.Ask 3student to read the words.3)OK , now ,look at that giraffe.(Follow me. Look at 手势3,that giraffe 拍手3 ,Look at that giraffe 两种节奏3 ), OK,look at that giraffe, its tall. Follow me,its tall.Its tall.Its tall,tall,tall. (动作) Lets look at that monkey.Its short.(方法同上) 通过多次重复,让学生理解掌握单词tall,short及句型Its。4)Look,whats this? (panda) How about this?(dog) Lets compare: Is that panda cute? Because that panda is fat.(手势).播放录音,板书fat, 同样拆分音节/f/-/-/t/,方法同上;Now look at that dog,its thin.(手势),播放录音,板书thin, 自然拼读法th- /, in-/n/, thin-/n/;这是本课的难点,需反复教授、练习。5)So,look at that panda.Its fat.(Read after me.Look at , that panda,Its fat,Its fat,Its fat,fat.连同手势,动作3 )。Look at that dog.Its thin.(方法同上,再次教授thin的发音)四、PracticeWords: 1)High and low Voice.T: If I say “tall”louder,you say “tall”lower,or lower / louder ,OK?2)Times game。T: If I say short once,you say short 2 times,clear?3)PK between Boys and GirlsT: Boys read fat,girls read thin;and change the roles.4) All students listen to the tape, and sing “Lets do.”together.Sentences:1)Read the sentence together.(手势,拍手)2) Group work: one group read the sentence;other group do the gesture and clap hands.(one group by one group)五、ConsolidationThere are 3 small tasks to practice.六、Sum
