Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball? Period 3英语(人教版)七年级上册Unit 5第三课时德清县千秋外国语学校 张超 2014年10月【设计思路】由歌曲“Take me out to the ballgame”开始,引入ball game一词和用一个bingo游戏拉近师生、活跃课堂并复习单词及句型。继续谈论ball game导出新单词interesting, fun, relaxing, boring, difficult和连接词but的使用以及操练句型 “Lets - That sounds ”。接着由ball game 联想到其他activities,让学生根据自己喜好操练单词和句型。作为最后拔高环节,让学生讨论自己的感受并将这节课所学到的编成歌词,填入“Take me out to the ball game”歌曲即课堂开始时播放的歌曲中,首尾呼应,结束整堂课。【教材分析】本课时围绕“Lets ” “That sounds ”两个句型展开教学活动。它以谈论ball game 和activities为主线,将自己的喜好表达和相应的形容词融合在一起,其主要语法是继续学习一般现在时。【教学目标】(一)教学知识点通过学习掌握一些新单词和词组,如interesting, fun, relaxing, boring, difficult, watch TV 等。(二)能力训练要求用Lets 句型提出邀请和用形容词表达自己的喜好及意愿。(三)情感与价值观要求培养学生大胆开口,主动参与合作的学习态度。【教学重点和难点】重点:五个形容词:interesting, fun, relaxing, boring, difficult难点:Like doing 结构的使用及That sounds 句型的使用。【教学策略与手段】(1) 师生对话,生生对话。(2) 充分运用现代教育技术手段。【学情分析】本单元section A部分学生已经学习了各种常用的球类名词,以及初步接触了have, let 等动词。本课时主要围绕学生对各种球类的喜好感觉,提高语言交际能力。【课前准备】教具准备:多媒体。学具准备: 了解如何玩bingo游戏。【教学过程】Step 1 Warming upLet Ss listen to the song and fill in the lyrics.T: Now lets enjoy the beautiful song and tell me the missing words.Ss may get the answer “ball game” easily.T: Yes, thats “ball game”, and the songs name is “take me out to the ball game”!T: Do you like ball games? Which ball game do you like? What does he / she like? There are many ball games, such as soccer, basketball, tennis, ping-pong, Ss count the ball games together. Teach: golf设计意图:以歌曲“Take me out to the ball game”作为课的开始,既活跃了气氛,又符合整堂课的主题,让学生轻松愉快地进入课堂,通过填歌词“ball game”导入到整堂课的主题,并复习上一课时的内容。.Step 2 Game - BingoT: Do you want to know how I like ball games? Lets play Bingo.Ss may choose one question to ask, if the teachers answer is “Yes”, the chart will turn red, if there are three red chart on a line, so Bingo. The student who can get Bingo can get a piece of chocolate as a gift.Teacher can ask Ss the same questions.Teach: interesting, watch TV, play with, like playing设计意图:这一步是以游戏的形式既让学生复习操练了问句,又活跃了课堂气氛,教授了词组 interesting, watch TV等,并为下一步铺设了like doing的用法。Step 3 Presentation and Pair workT: So you see, when we talk about ball games, we use the verb: play, we call it: play ping-pang, play basketball, play tennis, play baseball, play soccer, play volleyball.T: When we talk about like or dislike, we show different faces. For example, I use the first face, I like playing volleyball! That means I think its interesting, fun, great Ask Ss to tell the description words, then ask Ss to choose a face and make sentences.T: Oh, I also like , lets play Show the sentence and Ss can answer: That sounds T: look at these four pictures, Paul is talking with his friend Tom, can you guess what Tom is saying? What will Paul answer?After discussing the first picture, ask Ss to make dialogue with the whole pictures. 设计意图:五张脸引出本课时新单词和句型,并适当扩充,为最后拔高部分做铺垫。通过对四幅图的小故事的对话练习,让学生充分操练了句型和单词。Step 4 ListeningT: So at last, do they have an agreement?Ss may answer: NoT: So Paul goes to Jenny, lets listen what he says to Jenny.Listen and tell me what activities do they talk about?Listen again and tell me the description words they use. After listening, read after tape, pay attention to the pronunciation, rising tone and falling tone.设计意图:听力中的人物是和上一步对话中人物相联系的,这样有利于学生更好的掌握故事情节,引出了单词activities,为下一步的扩充拔高做了铺垫。Step 5 Practice and summaryT: Just now we talked about ball games, play computer games, watch TV, what other activities can you think of?Ss may give different answers about activities. Then show the pictures and ask them these Weekend is coming, invite your friend to go out and play together.Ss are supposed to make a long dialogue.After Ss show their dialogues, make a summaryT: OK, boys and girls, why do we like these activities?Ss may answer: because they are interesting, relaxing, Help Ss to answer: make more friends, keep healthy, forget our problems, 设计意图:整个操练过程分两步进行,第一步为对话,最大范围的操练本课时新学习的单词和句型;第二步总结,引导学生联系实际生活,说说为什么喜欢这些活动,引入一些课外的单词、词组以及句子,作为对本课时的一个拔高,也是下一步填歌词的一个铺垫。Step 6 Group workT: Now lets relax ourselves, enjoy the song again with your partners and write your own lyrics.Four Ss a group, write down the lyrics they like.设计意图:这是一个让学生感觉轻松的环节,学生在音乐声中给歌曲填入自己喜欢的歌词,上一步的总结是这个小组活动的必要前提,老师将本课时单词、词组、句型都一一呈现在黑板上,让学生有所依据并加以发挥。整堂课在学生的作品展示中结束。Step 7 HomeworkWrite down the lyrics.
