七年级下册英语Unit 7 Its rainingSectionA(1a-1c)教学设计教材教学简析: 教学对象是七年级的学生,本节教学内容与学生生活息息相关,又是学生们经常谈论的内容。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,表达他们对天气喜好,对不同地区、不同气候的认识.通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在阅读和书面表达中加以落实,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。教材的地位和作用: “Go for it”教 材 有 一 个 比 较 明 显 的 编 排 特 点那 就 是每单元由Section A , Section B 和 Self Check 三大版快组成,同时每个版快又由a, b , c 三小部分构成,内容循序渐进,符合学生的认知规律。教材又图文并茂,既能吸引学生的注意力,又能激发学生的学习兴趣。每一小部分的对话练习,培养了学生的合作意识;每一小部分的听力训练,培养了学生的听说能力。Section B的内容又能培养学生的读写能力。Self Check检测学生学习情况。本单元教材分析: 本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”learning by doing;通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动又能准确地用英语来表达。 本单元的核心话题是谈论天气和人们正在干什么,因此如何问答“Hows the weather? / Whats the weather like in Beijing? What are you/they doing? Whats he/ she doing?是教学重点。通过对本单元的学习学生能掌握本单元出现的表示天气的形容词。问天气的句式及灵活运用现在进行时态。对于学生而言前面的Unit6已经学过关于进行时的运用,在这个单元又将进一步学习进行时,是对上一单元的巩固,难度相对不大。本单元还有一个重点就是对天气的描述,让学生学会谈论在不同的天气里人们做的事情。因为课题与生活惜惜相关,所以在学习时学生应很有信心。但在本课学习中同学们可能在谈论人们正在做某事时还有点困难,在描述天气时形容词的应用上也会存在很多不足;所以在教学时采取一定的活动,利用图片和实例来加强学生记忆;同时通过表演和练习来检测和巩固所学。教学目标:知识与能力: 1. Master the new words : rain,windy,cloudy,sunny,snow ,weather, etc.2. Master and use: 1.What are they doing? What is he /she/XX doing? 2. Hows the weather in Beijing? Whats the weather like in Beijing?过程与方法: 通过结合课文上的图画、课件以及天气实例从而掌握单词,让同学们谈论天气关注并描述人们正在做的事情。再通过听力练习让学生听并说出别人谈论的内容情感态度价值观: 通过对本单元的任务性活动激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情;在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口、积极参与、主动请教。学习策略: 通过本节课的教学要求学生能描述用现在进行时来准确地表达当前正在发生或进行的动作,并会恰当的描述天气情况。 文化意识:了解西方人是如何表达正在进行的动作和描述天气的。教学重难点 1. New words (有助于学生后面的操作练习) 2. Language learning Hows the weather in Beijing ? / Whats the weather like in Beijing? What is XX doing? 3.listening practice.(训练学生的听说读写能力,为后续学习作准备)教学准备: 学生在学习本课时可带上些家庭随意照或一些有关人物活动的图片,预习本单元单词。教师的教学准备:1、 对课堂可能发生的情况的预测和对策: a、学生在复习现在进行时做动作时可能会拘束,开头先鼓励学生大胆表演,后面学生就会表演比较到位。 b、玩猜词游戏时可能会出现失误, 所以要多备几个词。 2、 课件制作 。 3、 在课件制作中注意使用动画表达现在进行时,让学生容易理解。使用气象图示让学生很容易理解天气的情况。 4、 实物准备, 为了更好地让课程走进学生的生活世界,用照片介绍、电话交谈同多媒体结合更有效地调动学生的热情和积极性。课时安排 :本次设计内容为一课时Unit 7 Its rainingSectionA(1a-1c)教学过程:(主要环节:1.新单词学习(实景+图片)为后续学习做准备2. 听力学习(训练学生听说能力)3. 活动(巩固所学提升学习兴趣及积极性)教学过程的设计: 1、 教学活动: Step 1: pretask (让学生抽取老师准备的活动卡,利用实物表演,其它同学观看并回答)e.g T: What am I doing? S: You are playing basketball (watching TV, running, writing) T: What is he (she) doing? S: He (She) is swimming (dancing, cooking, playing soccer) T: Look at the pictures. Lets play a guessing game and guess what he or she is doing. Lets see who is clever? What are they doing? S: They are playing the drum (reading, talking, walking) T: They are walking. What are you doing? S: Im reading (singing, eating, running) (Do actions while speaking.) T: Here are two of my photos. In the first photo, Im drinking. In the second photo, my friends are dancing. Can you say anything about yours? (Ask students to introduce their photos) Step 2: Warm up Sing the song Rain, rain, go away and watch the video hows the weather. Step 3: Whiletask 1 (New words learning) T: Look. What am I doing? Im drawing. What am I drawing? Im drawing a cloud. Can you see clouds in the sky? S: Yes, I can. T: How is the weather? Its cloudy.(teach students “cloud-cloudy”) Look at the pictures. How is the weather? Its sunny (windy, raining, snowing). (teach students“sun-sunny, wind-windy, rain-rainy , Snow-snowy)Ask students to read the new words together and then memorize them in 5 minutes.(have a short dictation to check if they remember the words)(then work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about weather.) Step 4 Listening. Ask stedents to look at the picture on P37. First, look and finish 1a .Then,talk about the weather from picture a-e.(How is the weather / Whats the weather like in picture a/b/c/d/e/?)Third,Listen and write the cities in the picture according to the weather.Finally, Check answers.Step 5 Whiletask 2 T: Look at the picture.How is the weather? Its sunny, so its hot. How is the weather? Its windy, so its cool. How is the weather? Its cloudy, so its warm.Whats the weather like? Its raining, so its cool.Whats the weather like? Its snowing, so its cold. T: Lets play a guessing game. One acts, one guesses. (利用活动提高兴趣,利于学生单词的掌握)Step 6 Whiletask 3 Show pictures T: Do you know which cities are they? (They are Beijing, Shanghai, Toronto, Moscow , Boston.) How is the weather/ Whats the weather like in Beijing or other cities? Look at the weather map, please give a weather reporter like a weatherman.(Practicing by themselves, then let students give a weather report.Itsin Beijing ) . (students work in pairs to ask and answer questions about weather in different cities) .Step 7 sum up & exercise1. Today we learnt how to ask about weather in different cities and ask people what they are doing in such weather.2.Now lets do some exercise to check if you have grasped what we learntToday.(1) - ? -Its cloudy.(2) -The weather is . -Yes, lets go swimming.(3) -What is the weather like Beijing? Its c (4) -What they doing? -They are skating.Step 8 Homework 1. Memorize the words and sentences by your heart. 2. Make up a conversation between you and your friends, talking about the weather and the events that you are doing.3. Try to act as a weatherman.
