Unit 3 How do you get to School ? 教案【教学内容分析】本单元的话题是“Transportation”,通过单元学习,让学生学会“Talkabouthowtogettoplaces”理解并掌握如何用Howlongdoesittake?和Howdoyougettoschool?Howfarisit?句型的提问和回答,让学生学会谈论自己日常上学的经历,并且学会正确使用交通工具和数字的英文表达。同时培养学生的交通安全意识。 【学情分析】 年龄在14-15岁的学生智力普遍良好,他们的世界观正处于形成阶段,思维活跃,求知欲强,对外面的世界充满好奇,渴望了解周边的一切,经过一年多的英语学习,新鲜感减少,畏惧感增加,但学生已具有一定的英语综合能力,也积累了一定的英语词汇量,如相关的交通工具名称。 【教学目标】 1知识目标: (1)重点词汇和短语:bike,subway,bus,train,car,walk,part,thing,other,dependon,river,boat,ropeway,byboat,must,more,than. (2)重点句式:Moststudentsgotoschoolbycar. Somestudentstakecarstoschool. 2能力目标: (1)学会猜测标题,初步了解文章内容; (2)学会“略读”,寻找文章的主要大意,从而提高学生快速捕捉信息的能力。 (3)学会“查读”寻找文章的细节信息,从而进一步理解文章内容。 (4)正确写出搭乘何种交通工具的表达语句。 3德育目标: 通过教学,让学生了解并比较不同国家的学生是通过什么方式上学的,从而提高学生的文化意识。 【教学重难点】 重点:理解课文内容以及感知课文的结构和框架。 难点:准确运用搭乘何种交通工具的表达语句。 【课时安排及教学内容】根据本单元教材的内容、学生学习英语的特点和规律,我把本单元内容整合为4课时: 第一课时:完成Section A 1a2e 第二课时:完成Section A Grammar focus, 3a3c 第三课时:完成Section B 1a1e第四课时:完成Section B 2aSelf Check 【教学过程】The First Period (Section A, 1a2e)Teaching aims (教学目标)1. 学习表示交通工具的单词。2. 学会使用动词短语表示交通方式。3. 能够熟练掌握How do you get to school?的句型。4. 学习使用how far询问距离,how long 询问时间。Language points (语言点)1. 词汇:1)名词n. train, bus, subway, ride, minute, kilometer2) 动词v. ride3) 数词num. sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred4) 形容词和副词adj. & adv. far5) 词组 take the subway, ride a bike 2. 句型:How do you get to school? I How long does it take ? It takes How far is it from to ? Its about Difficulties (教学难点)1. 交通工具的表达法。2. How,how far, how long 句型的使用及区别。Teaching steps (教学步骤)Step 1. Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)Step 2. Presentation (呈现新知识)(1) Present the new words: take a train, take the bus, take the subway, ride a bike, walk(2)Pair work:A: How do you get to school?B: I get to school B: I to school.(3)Summary:ride a bike by bike 骑自行车 walks on foot 走路、步行take the subway by subway 乘坐地铁take the train by train 乘坐火车take a car by car 乘坐小车take a plane by plane 乘坐飞机take the bus by bus 乘坐公车take a boat by boat 乘坐船Step 3. Work on 1a (完成1a)读图,了解对话情景地点和谈论的话题First, look at the picture. Please watch and read. OK. Answer my questions with Yes or No.(点击左边火车图片)Do you take the train to school?(随机教单词take the train)(点击右下公共汽车图片)Do you take the bus to school?(随机教单词take the bus)(用同样的方法,教授take the subway, ride a bike, walk)理解辨认有关交通方式的短语Please open your books and turn to page 13. Look at 1a. Match the words with the pictures.学生个人活动,复习已知的单词,接触未知的生词(单词的形式)Now, lets check.核对1a任务的答案,学生进行自我评价(电子书可随机做出评价)Step 4. Work on 1b (完成1b)通过图片询问对方如何上学How do you get to school? Lets practice in pairs. And ask 2 or 3 pairs to show it.听前复习英文人名Please look at these names in Activity 1b. Can you read them? Who are boys? And who are girls?听辨对话,感受目标语Now open your books and look at 1b. Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture above.核对答案Step 5. Work on 1c组织Pair work,学生针对1b中的六个人编会话Please practice the conversations in pairs. Now look at the picture. How does Mary get to school?(She takes the subway.)学生练习时,教师板书:How does Mary get to school?She takes the subway.针对目标语进行控制性的实践活动 How do you get to school? I take the bus.OK. Work in pairs. Use the information in 2b to make conversations.拓展训练活动:哪位同学离校近,哪位离校远1How do you get to school every day? Do you want to know how your classmates get to school? Whose home is near to school?
