And tell students to go over the Past Simple Tense.Step Two: Show the learning aims.Step Three: RevisionFinish the Aim A:Ways: a.Ask students to read the Past Simple Tense on the Page 207 by themselves ,then complete the questions on the big screen. b. Check the keys in the small groups, then discuss the difficulties with the partner . c.Show the learning result: Ask students to write the keys on the blackboard, and explain the difficult points, and summarize the rules how to change the three sentences: the General Questions 、Negative Sentences and Special Questions of the Past Simple Tense. And say what they should pay attention to in the past.d.Practise making sentences with the General Questions 、Negative Sentences and Special Questions of the Past Simple Tense. At first, ask students to describe the pictures with the Past Simple Tense. Then according to the pictures, ask and answer in the small groups.Finish the Aim B:Ways:a.Ask the students to write a composition(My weekend) ,talk about what your family did at the weekend .Then check it with each other. b.Ask students to read the compositions to everyone. Others find out the mistakes together. c.The rest of students hand in the compositions to the teacher after class.Step Four:Have a test.Step Five: Summing up What have you learnt in the lesson?Step Six: Homework for today Write the past tense verbs .
