教学设计 课题:七年级(下)Unit6Im watching TV(SectionA1a2c) 科目: 英语教学对象: 七年级课时: 第一课时提供者:陈跃玲单位: 普洱市江城县整董镇中学一、教学内容分析本单元是Go for it ( 七年级下 ) Unit 6本单元主要围绕“What are you doing? 这一话题谈论日常活动。学生将学到谈论人们正在干什这一句型,他们还将学到一些活动的名字,像watching,doing,eating,cleaning,playing,swimming,reading等。以及地点的名字,像pool,school,mall,library等。主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。 SectionA 1a1c部分是本单元的第一课时导入课,以听说为主,这一课时通过常见的一些动词短语引出现在进行时的教学,学好本课对后面几部分的学习起了很好的铺垫作用。二、教学目标1语言目标 1)词汇:make soup、 read a newspaper、 wash、use、 eat out、 go to a movies. Watching TV、 reading、doing homework、 talking on the phone . 2)句型结构What are you doing?Im watching TV.Whats he/she doing? He/Shes reading.What are they doing ? Theyre watching TV.3)语法现在进行时( Present Progressive Tense)The present participle2.语言技能1)能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:doing homework, watching TV, eating dinner? 等。3、学习策略通过本节课的教学,学生能通过观察别人的行为和活动时能用现在进行时来准确地表达所发生或进行的动作。4、情感,态度,价值观激发他们学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与。5、文化意识了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。三、学习者特征分析我所教学的对象是七年级学生(以中等生为主),好动,好奇,好表现,在教学中应采用形象生动的,形式多样的教学方法和学生广泛的,积极主动参与的学习方法,去激发学生学习的兴趣,同时这些学生注意力易分散,爱发表见解,希望的到老师的表扬,所以在教学中应抓住学生这一特点,发挥学生的主动积极性。这些学生中还存在着一大部分学习知识不扎实,不能主动地去学习,懒得动脑,懒于对手,不能踏踏实实去学习的学生,所以教学中要加强小组合作学习,发挥兵教兵的作用。四、教学策略选择与设计现在进行时是学生刚刚接触的一种新的语法项目,而本单元的话题源自生活,立足这一点,我充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验,创设生活化的真实情境(或半真实情境)引导学生在 运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言(为用而学, 在用中学,学了就用)。开展多种类型的任务型活动,如表演、小组对话,做调查报告等提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。培养学生观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。用生动的课件调动学生的感官进行听说读写的训练。教学过程中创造一种开放的,和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在做中学,在乐中学。五、教学重点及难点教学重点:词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。教学难点:现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。六、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Greeting对教师的问候做出反应日常交流,把所学语言运用于实际Warm-up. play a song called“Are you sleeping?”Enjoy the song called“Are you sleeping?”,and repeat.利用歌曲既能让学生在轻松的氛围中逐渐进入最佳学习状态,又能顺利地过渡到现在进行时的学习PresentationLead out the new phrases and target languages.1.Show some picture on the screen and ask students say the activities in English.Such as,talk on the phone、read a newspaper、watch TV、make soup、 read a newspaper、 wash the clothe、use the computer、 eat out、 go to a movies.do her homework. 2.Teacher perform the actions.T: What am I doing?(repeat once more).I am talking on the phone (repeat once more,and write the sentence on the blackboard,underline am talking.3.Ask students to perform the actions.eg.T: What are you doing ?S: I am doing homework.(Help him/her to answer)T:What is he /she doing ?Ss: He /she is doing homework.Teach : watching TV,cleaning reading a book, eating dinner, talking on the phone,using the computer,making the soup, swimming,shopping,running. as the same way.( Write the phrases on blackboad.Pay attention to classify the verb pharase according the changing rules of The present participle)4.The structure of present progressive tense and the present participle.Ask students look at sentences and the verb phrases.Conclude the using of Present Progressive Tense and the changing rules of The present participle.1.Lookat the picture on the screen and say the activities in English. Such as,talk on the phone、read a newspaper、watch TV、make soup、 read a newspaper、 wash the clothe、use the computer、 eat out、 go to a movies.do her homework. 2.Look at the teacher.listen carefully.Look at the sentence which the teacher wrote on the blackboardI am talking on the phone.Then repeat after teacher.3.Students perform the actions,listen and answer the teachers questionseg.T: What are you doing ?S: I am doing homework.(Help him/her to answer)T:What is he /she doing ?Ss: He /she is doing homework.4.students look at sentences and the verb phrases.Conclude the using of Present Progressive Tense and the changing rules of The present participle.通过多媒体课件显示,能够直观并快速的复习单元重点短语;教师表演既能鼓励学生也像老师样大胆的表演,也创造了一个真实学语言的环境:学生的亲自表演,让学生在真实情景中学习短语和感受出现在进行时的结构和法;把动词按现在分词变化规则的不同分类,有便于学生观察总结出规律;让学生观察句子和现在分词形式分别总结出现在进行时的结构和怎么给动词加ing,培养学生的观察能力和归纳能力。Practice1.Give the instruction of the task .Give samples.Sample 1:A:What are you doing ?B: I am doing my homework.A:What is he/ she doing ?C:He/ Shes doing his/her homework.Sample 2: A: Are you Watching TV? B:Yes ,I am. A:Is he/she talking on the phone? B:No ,he/she isnt2.Walk around and if necessary give student help.3.Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.1.Ask and answer in pairs: What is he/ she doing? He/Shes.2.Groupwork(1) A:What are you doing ?B: I am doing homework.A:What is he/ she doing ?C:He/ Shes doing homework.(2)A: Are you Watching TV? B:Yes ,I am. A:Is he/she talking on the phone? B:No ,he/she isnt.3.Some pairs act out their conversations.The others listen.我设计的任务是要求三个学生为一小组, 进行问答练习。这样的活动既可以培养学生的合作意识,又能在情景中用现在进行时交际,巩固了本节课的重点,从而突破了难点,促使学生在学习过程中学会细心观察Practice 1a and 1c1. Lead student to look at the pictures in 1a.Let them say out the activities.Then read the instructions of 1a.Let student match the words with the people in the pictures2. Read the instructions of 1c.point out the sample ,let students read together.Then ask students to work in pairs.3. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.(1c)1.Match the words with the people in the pictures in Section A( 1a)2. Pair work , ask and answer questions about the pictures. Ask 3.Some pairs act out their conversations,the others listen.(1c)通过这两个活动,考查学生对语言知识的运用和口头表达能力。运用奖励的机制,给表现好的同学发小礼物。Listening 1b,2a,2c接下来的任务型听力要求学生对动作作出反应,教师可承接刚开始的话题,引导学生根据所学语言完成以下任务:Activity 1b1.What are the people doing?2.Write numbers from 1a below.3.Check the answers in pairs like this: A: What is Jenny doing? B: He is watching TV.A: What are Dave and Mary doing? B: They are eating dinner. A: What is John doing?B: He is doing homework.Activity 2a1. Let Ss read the two qestions and the two answers.(1)What is Steve ding? a. he is watching TV.(2)What is Jack ding? b. he is listening to a CD2.Tell the Ss Listen and match the answers with the questions.Play the recording .Then check the answers.Activity 2b1.Let Ss read the conversation loudly.Pay attention to the blanks.2.Tell Ss listen again .Fill in the blanks.Play the recording for the fist time. Let Ss Write the answers .Play again,check the answers. Activity 2c1. Playthe recording again ,let Ss repeat the conversation .2. Let Ss role play the conversation in pairs ,one student is Steve ,the other is Jack.3. Ask a few pairsshow their conversations in class .1. Listen carefully,hand up when they hear the activities.2. Write numbers from 1a below.3. Listen teachers questions carefully ,and answer to check their answers.通过听力训练,现在进行时的结构得以很好的落实通过角色替换练习,也使得目标语言的到加强运用课堂小结Show the phrases and target languages on the screen.Show one by one to lead student recall.Look at the screen.Review the phrases ,target languages and grammar by answering the teachers question .给本节课的语言知识,短语,语法进行归纳总结。当堂检测1.Show the exercises on the screen写出下列动词的现在分词:1.ask 2. clean 3.write 4.run 5.close 6.play 7.read 8. sit 9.swim 10.take 11. shop 12. put 13.wait 14. open2.ask 14 students to write the answers on blackboard.1.
