Unit 5 Art world教案一、 教学对象分析初中三年级学生,对本课语法原因状语从句引导词because,since,as比较熟悉。初中学生比较活跃,对艺术类主题的课程比较感兴趣,便于展开教学和引导学习。二、 教学目标 1. 知识目标 能理解并运用描述艺术的词组和常用句型。2. 情感目标 激发学生对艺术的热爱和兴趣,从而引导他们热爱生活,为世界增添色彩。三、 教学步骤Step 1.Warming up T: Boys and girls, welcome to my class. Id like to start with two interesting questions: Do you like art? What do you about art?T: You see, in this unit we are going to have some funny topics about art. But first lets look at the pictures. (show them the pictures of different art forms)What are these? They are various art forms.Can you name them? Which kind of art forms do you like best? Please talk about them in pairs and then share your ideas with the whole class.Step 2. Lead-in T: Do you know Chinese composer Tan Dun? He composed music for Beijing Olympic Games and the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Today we are going to know more about his music career.Before reading: Ask Ss some questions related to the passage. (PPT)Let them read the passage while considering these questions.While reading:Let Ss underline words or phrases they dont understand. Make them be clear of the meaning of each paragraph.After reading:Ask some of Ss answer questions. Then begin the analysis of this passage.Ask Ss to finish Part B. Check the answers.Step3.
