Use a clipboard with some notepaper and a whistle to show that the teacher is acting a PE teacher.b. Show the pupils the photos of Sports Day. Tell them Its some of the activities and ask the pupils to recall vocabulary they know for the actions, e.g. run, jump, etc.c. Demonstrate new items of vocabulary and write the names of the activities on the board. Ask the pupils to stand up and do the actions when the teacher points to one of the words/phrases on the board.d. Point to activities on the board and ask the pupils What can you do? Encourage them to reply I cane. Play the Pupils Book Cassette and point to the speech bubbles. Ask the pupils to repeat after the cassette.III. Ex.a. Explain that they should ask each other what events they are going to do according to what they have written down in their own programme. They add their friends name to their list.h. Tell the pupils to change partners and talk to a different pupil. They ask and answer questions about what they and their first partner are going to do and write the names in their programme.i.
