Greet the class as usual. Review we learned last class.Step 2 Leading-in Let them talk about Hansel and Gretel. T: Is the story interesting? Do you like it?Ss: Yes, its very interesting.T: So, you all know what the story is about , right?S1: I think its about the two children Hansel and Gretel.T: Yes, Today were learn the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. Show the title of fairy tales in 2a, then in pairs, ask students to talk about what they are about.Step 3 While-reading Have students read the play and find out the main idea of each scene and write it with the sentence. Ask students to read the description in 2c and compare them with their description. Then match each description in 2c with the correct scene. Check the answers in class. Have students read the questions in 2d, and then ask them to read the story again and discuss the questions in pairs. The try to answer the questions and write them down.Step 4 Role- play Ask students to at out the play in groups of four. Call some groups to role-play the story before the class. Give every group some praise and encouragement.Step 5 SummaryT: In this clas, weve learned the fairy tale Hansel and Getel. It tell us that we must be clam and dont be panic when you meet any difficulties. We should try our best to get over them. Ask two students to sum up the key phrases ans sentences patterns.Step 6 Homework
