people who ate a small amount of chocolate regularly had lower blood pressure and reported feeling happier than people who didnt eat any chocolate. eating a lot of chocolate every day resulted in increased weight gain and higher blood pressure, but it actually had a positive impact on mood. the scientists were quick to point out that the chocolate under investigation was dark chocolate, which has less fat, less sugar, and fewer calories than milk chocolate. they also said that adding chocolate to ones diet should be combined with a balanced diet and plenty of exercise. although the researchers said that there is still a lot of work to be done in this field, the initial findings are no doubt great news for all you chocolate lovers out there! 101usaholidays.co.uk下面的介绍 “its a diverse selection, ranging from touring in the footsteps of martin luther king to a golfing break in arizona and a cycling and wine-tasting trip in californias napa valley.” 根据www. oyster. com下面的介绍 “importantly, these are not promotional photos provided by the hotels, but more honest and revealing ones taken by inspectors.”(网站上关于宾馆的照片都是实地拍摄的,没有广告宣传的成分在里面),可知这个网站提供的照片是游客可以信任的。 根据第三段learning to express bad feelings is important,too学会表达糟糕的感受也很重要由此可知,我们也应表达不好的感受。 根据第一段”put what you think and feel into words, say, write a composition or a letter. 26. a. 文章第二段有提到“the fish will collect data on pollution in the port of gijon and send the information back to the control centre.” 从文章第五段“he and his colleagues chose a fish design because hundreds of millions of years of evolution has created an energy-efficient creature”中energy-efficient可以判断。30. d. 从robust后一句“enough to handle any possibility”, 以及“ the tracking systems inside can help the robot fish avoid crashes”得知此处robust意为坚固而智能。31. b. 根据第二段第二句for five days in a row, the people read either in a paper book or on an ipad for four hours before sleep可排除a、b两项;根据第二段最后一句中的before and after each trial 可排出d选项;根据第二段第三句their sleep patterns were monitored all night可知c选项正确。 完形填空41. b根据下文的head back to the beach可知,这里指作者在沙滩上度过了愉快的时光。 44. b 根据then i decided to head back to the beach可知,作者在家中没有找到项链,所以努力白费了。 45. b 根据下文as the huge beach was nine miles from our home可知沙滩很大并且离家很远,作者返回沙滩寻找项链时,丈夫觉得作者疯了。 52. a 根据后文gave him a $5 bill可知,作者给他钱让他邮寄项链。 58. d 根据下文my dad offered to build a bookshelf for the owner可知父亲买不起那条项链。 故填to make.64.
