For lunch , I have biscuits and a glass of milk - It takes less than fifteen minutes to watch - - I look at some documents that I bring back from the office - But I try to work hard so that I can make more money for them .2. Lead-inAsk the students some questions and deal with the Part Before you start . What are your favorite kinds of TV program ? Do you ever watch too much TV ? How much time do you spend watching TV every day ? What kind of lifestyles do you think the me in the pictures have ?Step 4 . Fast readingLet the students read the two texts quickly and :1. Underline the TV programs that Brain usually watches .2. Underline the kinds of work Bob does every day .Step 5 . Careful reading1. Let the students read the two texts again and answer these questions . Is Brain a lazy person ? Can you find two examples of his lazy behavior ? What do you think “Youve got the world at your feet ” means ? How does Bob spend his morning and evening ? Why does Bobs family complain ? Why does Bob work so hard ?Ask the students to answer the questions one by one , then check the answers with the whole class .2. Deal with the languages points . series : number of things , events etc. of a similar kind , esp. placed or occuring one after another .eg: There has been a series of car accidents at the crossing .
