2、by People s Education PressThemain. topic of this unit is lifegoals , greatly associated with Unit 4 I want to be an actor in Book 2 of Grade Seven .Inthis unit, Ss will learn to talk about their dream jobs again by using another structure I am going to be. Such a topic is related to their daily lif
3、e. And it s veryinteresting and useful to Ss. So its helpful to raise their learning interests, improvetheir spoken English and pursuit their dreams.Part Learners analysis(学生分析)As to the learners, they are Senior High School Ss, Grade 2.With so many yearsof English learning, Theyve already had a goo
4、d master of basic English. It is easy toarouse their learning emotion, while they may do poor in cooperative learning skills.And they have a strong thinking ability of the image, but the attention might bescattered easily.Part Teaching objectives( 教学目标 )Based on the analysis of the teaching material
5、s andSsreal situation, Iset the following objectives for this lesson:1. Moral objective(情感目标)Ss plan their future reasonably and strive for them.2. Strategy objective( 策略目标 )Effectively cooperate with others and confidently show their dreams to others.Part Teaching important and difficult points( 教学重难点 )To achieve these objectives, I set the following points as the

8、ntentions.Part Teaching methods and aids(教具和教法 )1.Teaching methods1I will give Ss some tasks and arrange many kinds of activities: make conversations,group activities,listening practice and guessing games.As we all know,the main instructional aims of learning English in Middle School is to cultivate
9、Ssabilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of theEnglish language. So in this lesson I ll mainly use PPP (a teaching model) ,audio-visual language teaching method,discussion( a way of teaching traditionally rather than a teaching method) & TBLT. ( I request Ss to s
10、tudy Englishindependently and cooperatively. Each unit in the book contains pair work, groupwork and games.The Ss who sit at the same table and groups can makea discussion and learn from each other. It makes each student be relaxed.Theyneednt worry about making mistakes.It can arouse Ss to think and
11、 to say wh atthey want to say. Study becomes more relaxed and pleased in this kind ofenvironment.)2. Teaching aidsPPT, tapes, audio-video, chalks, blackboard .a) Both traditional and modern teaching facilities have been used in myclass, sIt known to us that the multimedia is very effective in langua
12、ge teaching &courseware can offer us a visual representation of information.A blackboard can be easily available. In order to give Ss a deeperunderstanding and clearer picture of this lesson, some important points have beenpresented on the Bb.Part Teaching procedures( 教学步骤 )Id like to divide the
13、 teaching procedures into 5 stages.Step 1 ReviewFirst of all,Ill show a video about dreams to stimulate Sslearning interest.( 1. warm up the class atmosphere and make it lively.2. help them to review the words they have learned about jobs3.stimulate their learning interest and lead them into the tex
14、t directly. )Then Ill lead the Ss to review the structure “be going to ”in section A learnedin the last two periods by using pictures on the PPT and ask volunteers to present adialog with the structure in the front of the class.( 1.help Ss to review what they have learned by pictures, making them no
15、tnervous and more active in the class.2. asking volunteers means give chance to every one and respect them equality. )Step 2 Presentation1. And fosterstudents corporative skill.)Step 4 DrillPut up your hand quickly after the game begins, and write your dream on the blackboardquickly.Then tell what are you going to d
20、o and how are you going to do it? As time is limited, sothere are 15 students can get the opportunity. While students who don t get the opportunity can doit after class.(It is a funny game, make Ss relax. At the same time it will consolidate theknowledge and make the class interest.)Step 5 HomeworkInterview their parents or friends what their dreams are and write a report.( Homework is so important that the students should speak English as much as theycan in class or after class.
