I ll prepare to say the lesson from four parts.Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material(一) STATUS AND FUNCTION1 .This is an important lesson in
2、Book One. From this lesson, it start s asking the Ss to grasp contents of each Sample. To attain “four s kills ” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To start lis ting “ WordBank ”and tellthe Ss to remember the new words.Tostart askingthe Ss to writethe English sentences well. Theref
3、orethis lesson isin theimportant position of the teaching material.2 .This lessonis thefirst oneof Unit 2.So if the Ss can learn it well,it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit.3 .Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learnin g interests of students a
4、nd it will be also helpful to improve their s poken English.(二)ANALYSIS OF THE STUDENTSThe Ss has learned English for about one month so far. They can u nderstand some words and some simple sentences. The Ss have tak en a great interest in English now.(三)TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDSThe teaching aim'
5、;s basis is established according to Junior School English syllabus' provision.1.Knowledge objects(1) To make the Ss know how to use the affirmative sentence“ This is. . . . ” and the negative sentence “This is not .” Everyday expr essions for “Apologies ”“ I'm sorry ”“ That's all right
6、” .(2) To study the new words “ six, hey, sorry, it s, that s” , etc. by learning the dialogue of this lesson.(3) To finish some exercises.2 .Ability objects(1) To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) To train the Ssability of working in pairs.(3) To develop the S
7、s abilities of communication by learning the u seful structures.3 .Moral objects(1) To enable the Ss to be polite and love life.(2) To enable the Ss to look after their things well.(四 )TEACHING KEY AND DIFFICULT POINTSThe teachingkey and difficult points basis is established accordingto Sample A of
8、Lesson Six in the teaching material's position andfunction.1.Key points:(1) .To help the Ss to communicate with each other.(2) .To enable the Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.(3) .To develop the Ss interest in English.2.Difficult points:(1) How to make dialogues and act them out.(
9、2) How to write the right whole sentences.(五) TEACHING AIDSMulti-media computer, Tape recorder, Software: Powerpoint or Auth orware, school things and so on. They will be needed in this lesson.Part Two The Teaching Methods1. Communicative teaching method2. Audio-visual teaching method3. Task-based ”
10、 teaching methodAs we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in t he Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening, spea king, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language.So in this lesson I ll mainly use “ Communicative ” teaching meth od,“Audio-
11、visual ” teaching method and “ Task-based ” teachingmethod. That is to say, I ll let the Ss to get a better understandingof the key structure of the dialogue. I ll give the Ss some tasks a nd arrange five kinds of activities: talking, guessing games, watchingCAI, acting out Sample A and having a com
12、petition.Teaching special featuresTo use these methods are helpful to develop the Ss thought.Part Three STUDYING WAYS1 .Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners.2 .Let the Ss pass "Observation Imitation Practice " to study language.3 .Teach the Ss how to master dialoguesand how
13、to communicatewith others.Teaching special features:Let the Ss communicate with each otherand adopt competition methods todevelop the Ss keen interestin English.Part FourTeaching ProcedureI ll finishthis lesson in four steps. FirstI ll divide the Ss into fourgroups and bring a competition into thecl
14、ass. At last let s see which group is the winner.Step1 Warm-up1. Free talk between Tand Ss .Such as: Hi, I m What s your name?This is .How do youdo?Who is he/she? How are you?Who can count from 1to 5?What s this in English? etc.2.A game: Ask the Ss to give T some school things. For example:T: Give m
15、e your book.(ruler, box, pen, table, knife, etc.)T: This is your book. This is not my book. It s your book. etc.In this course I ll ask them to make a dialogue group by group wi thout repetition. Find out which group will make the most dialogue s.Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to f
16、orm a better En glish learning surrounding for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is necessary to provide situations to review learned knowled ge.Step2. PresentationThis course is very important. I ll mainly talk about this step.I ll use CAI to present the whole dialogue. Arrange some situa
17、tions to help Ss understand Sample A.First scene: There is a bag on the floor. B is picking it up and get r eady to leave. Now A is talking with B.A: Hi, B. How are you today?B: I m fine, thank you. And you?A: I m fine, too. Oh, this is my bag.B: No, this is not your bag. It s my bag.A: (Look closel
18、y) Oh, I m sorry.B: That s all right.(At the same time, C is running up and hitting A.)C: Oh, I m sorry.A: That s OK.I ll write the key points on the Bb while they are watching. After w atching, I ll teach them to read the words and sentences on the B b. Make sure they can read them well.Purpose of
19、my designing: To present Sample A by CAI is much easi er for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. CAI can provide a r eal situation with its sound and picture and it makes the relationshi ps between the Ss better.Step3.PracticeFirst play the tape recorder. Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialog
20、 ue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. In this step the Ss are required to practise the Sample in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud. This step is employed to make the Ss grasp the Sa mple .Atlast I ll ask the Ss to think hard and act it out with a partner according to Sample A.
21、Then find out which group will act it o ut well. I ll give them red stars.Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss getthe general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same tim e let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening and spoken ab ility.Step4.ProductionIn th
22、is step I ll give the Ss a free space to show their abilities.Second scene: The Ss are having a picnic. It s hot and they take of f their coats and put them together. They are singing and dancing, laughing and chatting. After the picnic, they begin to look for their coats. D and E are talking. F and
23、 G are talking. etc.After watching, I ll give the Ss some tasks to make similar dialogue s without repetition and find out which group will make more dialo gues.Purpose of my designing:“Task-based ” teaching method is used here to develop the Ss ability of communication and also their abili ty of co
24、-operation will be well trained. Tell the Ss we should be pol ite and take good care of our things. We should love our life. I thi nk proper competition can arouse the Ss interest in English learni ng. If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English.2.Skill 1 Mod
25、el 1.I ll ask four Ss of the groups to write these sentences on the Bb i n the four lines.Then check their handwriting, correct their mistakes. Find out who will write well and whose handing is the best.3.Finish the Ss workbook.Purpose of my designing: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this
26、lesson.Step5.Homework:(1)Recite the words as many as possible after class.(2)Make a dialogue according to Sample A and write it in the exerc ise book.Purpose of my designing: I think homework is so important that th e Ss should speak English as much as they can in class or after cla ss. It is necess

According to the problem of Chinese students learning English , the book design a lot of materi al to improve the students ability of listening speaking, reading, a nd writing. So I think the book is very good.Then I ll talk about next part

It is known t o us that the kids are very active and like playing games very muc h, so during my class, I ll design some interesting games to activat e them to participate and learn something. They will also be interes ted in the class.Next I ll talk about teaching methods
32、. My teaching methods are ta sk-based approach and situational approach. Using different method s can make the class active.Let s move on to another part, teaching aims and demands. There are knowledge aims and ability aims.Knowledge aims are to enable the students to master the words an d phrases:

In this class, I ll use pictures, PPT and ta pe recorder. These can arouse the students interest in English.Now I ll talk about most important par
34、t teaching procedure. It con sists of 5 steps. Warning up, lead-in, contents key points and difficu lt points and homework.Step1 is warming up. Here I ll use PPT to play a English song Bing o for the students and I ll ask them try to follow it to sing togeth er. By this, the students can be interest
35、ed in it and pay their attenti on to our class easily and improve their ability of speaking.Step2 is lead-in (导入根据所授内容设计,可通过展示与本课有关的话题或 者图片等等引出本课话题)Step 3 is contents( 本部分为主要授课内容及组织的课堂活动。可从听说读写四块分写 )Step 4 is key points and difficult points( 本部分列出本课重难点可为单词句型或语法知识 )Step 5 is homework.( 作业形式最好新颖,例如课让学

Then how can we develop students communicati ng ability? As teachers, we should carry out th

What s more, most s tudents have learned English in primary schools. We should preparesomething for thes

Therefore, I include other sentences like: here is the money, we spent we get These are the teaching materials in this class, and above is why I a dd more sentence patterns to this class.Because of the characteristicsof the teaching materials and currentlevel of Junior One students, I fo
41、cus on these teaching aims.(1) Learn and grasp the vocabulary and the sentence pattern: how much (2) Use the sentences they ve learned to communicate.(3) Describe the clothing items by using adjectives like red yellow big small and so on.(4) Arouse the interest and confidence of learning English.(5)
42、 Train the students team spirit and gain appreciation from the experience of team work.Among these aims, Aim 1 is set to increase and consolidate student s language knowledge. Aim2 is set to students language compet ence. Aim 3 is to improve students language skills. Aim 4 and 5 a re to let students
43、 help each other, know one of the ways to teach themselves, or in other words, for the purpose of morality.2) Teaching main points and difficult ones.a. 45、test ” is just a clue to go t hroughit. I use the clue because of the following reasons:a. The students are very interested in the TV show “ Super girl ” .b. The courage of super girls is worth owning.c. It s a contest. So it can train the students competitive spiritalso team spirit.d. I want them t
46、o know if they work hard step by step, they aresure to get something.They have many passes to go. If they do well in one pass, they can get an apple.The aims can be achieved only by carrying out the carefully design ed teaching procedures. So the teaching procedure is arranged in t he following way.
47、Task1: Warming upThe first step is to use a song to warm up. A good presentation pl ays an important part in accomplishing the teaching aims of a class.It can warm up the class atmosphere and make it lively. It can acti vate the students. In this way, the students can be “open ” to the input. So at
48、the beginning of the class, I will let them listen to a s ong: Ten little Indian boys.This song is very funny. While listening to the song, I will let stude nts stand up one by one to make it more interesting. Also it s a g ood way to revise numbers. Then say “Welcome to Super Studen t Contest ” to
49、lead in the class.Task 2: Pass 1 Memory challengeShow the students some pictures for a few seconds, then cover the m. Let them guess what is in the picture. The purpose of this task i s to check students preview work. The students are asked to learn how to pronounce and spell words by themselves. In
50、 the traditional way, students were asked to follow the teachers many times to re ad the new words. I am sure this method is far more popular with students. Then the students read the words. Pointing to the picture and ask: what color is it? They may answer like this: the hat is yell实用文档ow. Write on
51、 the blackboard: it s a yellow hat. Then train with plur al nouns. Then show two hats and two sweaters. Teach big, small, l ong and short. Make sure the students can say like this: it is a lon g green shirt. In this part, I will take real objects as teaching items as students usually like this way.T
52、ask3: Pass 2 Suit matchingLet one student whose clothes look very nice stand up. Say “ it i s a yellow shirt. These are long blue pants. They match well. ” Then let them do group work. Each group offer the coolest suit matching.Show their suit in front of the whole class. The students use their own
53、clothes to do group work. It will enhance their initiative to stu dy. The real purpose of this task is to develop the students ability to describe something when they see it. By doing that, at the sam e time, I think it offers anopportunitytotell what is beauty.Task 3: Pass 3 Guessing the priceIt s
54、very natural to go through thistaskwhen Task 2 is finished.Let the coolest suit stay. Ask about the price of the cheapest thing of his. “ How much is your hat? ”Help him to answer. Show the pictures and tell the colors and guess the price o
57、f the items. Sa y “let s see if your guesses are right ” . Listen to the tape and fill in the table with key information. The usual way of dealing listenin g material is to circle the thing students hear. I d like to let them do something different. The students need to consolidate what they talk about a moment before. I won t let them fill in the clothing i tems because they are familiar with the color words and number w ords. They will feel confident when they finish the task.Task 5:Pass 5 The best imitatorAsk “what about the hat? How much is it? ” to
