1、Lesson 25教学目标和要求:学生能准确理解动词不定式概念及不定式充当宾语的用法。掌握be able to; keep doing sth; give up; work on; own 等单词短语的用法,学会Which would you most like to own?这样的表达法。教学难点:不定式充当宾语的理解和运用。教学用具:录音机,各种发明创造的幻灯图片。教学步骤:一、通过小话题介绍对话中语言项目1:呈现以下对话。T:We are going to learn a story about a great man in this unit. Do you know who he i
2、s?Ss: Yes, he is Thomas EdisonT: What do you want to know about him?S1:I want to know when he was born.S2: I Want to know where he was from.S3: I want to know how Many inventions he made.等.2、教师问学生:why do you think he could make so many inventions? 学生展开讨论并回答:He was very clever. 或He was hard-working等.
3、教师总结:Yes, he kept trying out his new ideas. He kept working on it .He never gave up.3、教师归纳讨论Edison was able to be a great man because he was very hard_working.让学生造同样的句子:XXX is able to learn English very well because he likes it very much.They are able to speak Chinese very well because they have bee
4、n in China for two years等.二、听录音,回答问题。1、听录音,要求学生回答问题:(1)Whats He Pengs idea? (He wants to make a pen that has a machine in it to write faster).(2) What kind of person did Thomas Edison like?(He liked people who had ideas)学生回答若有困难,可给予帮助,并解释a pen that has a machine in it people who had ideas的意思。三、读、演1、
5、听录音、跟读对话2、学生二人一组读读、演演3、抽其中几组演一演四、问、答1、要求学生列举一些爱迪生的发明创造和其他一些常见的发明创造。2、用幻灯片展示这些物品。问学生:Which of these do you think is the most( the second most / the third most) useful invention?Which would you most like to own?介绍动词own请学生逐个回答,并进行连锁操练。3、第二十五课第2部分利用幻灯片2人一组操练以上句型,并将答案填入书中表格。五、家庭作业1、完成练习册25课练习2、查找更多有关爱迪生资
6、料。教学建议:本课内在处理不定式时,只需学生把以前出现过的want to do sth; ask sb to do sth中的to do sth和不定式的概念联系起来,不要强化训练得太多。Lesson 26教学目标和要求:阅读并理解文章意思,继续在运用中掌握不定式的各种用法。掌握新词汇:inventor; pupil; build; rush; safety; lifetime; frightened; track; telegraph和短语try out; at the age of; open up; become interested in; too to; see sb doing s
7、th; no matter等的意思和用法教学难点:不定式在具体实践中的运用。教学用具:录音机、幻灯片、或图片等。教学过程:一、复习1、检查核对家庭作业2、复习上一课第二部分内容。二、问、答1、用幻灯片展示出爱迪生的照片,告诉学生:Today were going to learn something about this man. 问以下两个问题。(1)who do you think the man is?学生回答后,教师补充:Yes, he is Thomas Alva Edison,a great American inventor 教学inventor.(2) What do you
8、know about him? 学生交流所收集有关爱迪生资料。2、要求学生展开讨论:what kind of spirit do we need to become an inventor?先学习爱迪生的故事。三、阅读理解1、学生快速阅读全文。2、教师分配任务:要求学生4人一组,以年龄为线索,列举爱迪生主要生平纪事。3、选择几组进行汇报,教师在黑板中写出相应内容。如:when Edison was a Child liked asking questions .tried out new ideas. was at school for three months became interest
9、ed in sciencewhen he was ten. built a chemistry lab.At the age of 12 started writing、printing、selling newspapers.when he was 16 left home to work in different cities.at the age of 22 went to New York and worked there most of his life4、教师利用图片,介绍文中有关爱迪生的小故事,并教学生生词track; frightened; rush; safety; teleg
10、raph等5、听录音,进一步理解文章意思6、学生朗读文章,回答问题.7、分段进行课文复述。四、讨论: 教师提出讨论话题;(1)why could Edison become such a great inventor?(2) What kind of spirit do we need to become an inventor要求学生自由展开讨论,然后各组派代表阐述各自观点。五、家庭作业1、完成了练习册26课练习 2、准备全文复述。教学建议:在交流有关爱迪生资料和自由讨论时,鼓励并帮助学生用英语完成。Lesson27教学目标和要求:正确运用不定式充当宾语,宾语补足语和状语,掌握graduat
11、e; noisy; turndown(up)等词的用法。教学难点:如何准确、自由地运用不定式教学用具:录音机、调查样表教学步骤:一、复习1、检查家庭作业2、请几位学生复述课文3、问、答教师问一些有关26课的问题,如:Why did Edison like asking questions? (He wanted to learn as much as possible)Why was Edison at school for only three months?(He asked too many questions)Why did Edison go to New York at the a
12、ge of 22?帮助学生回答:He went there to work as an inventor. 完成课文第4部分二、讨论教师提出讨论话题:What do you want to do after you graduate from school?学生自由讨论,教师将调查样表发给每组组长,之后,两人一组进行问答。最后由组长汇报各组情况。完成课文第1部分。三、语言输入1、打开录音机并将音量放高,呈现以下对话:T:Dont you think the radio is too noisy?S: Yes, I do. Please turn it town. T: what do you
13、ask me to do?S:(loudly) we asked you to turn it down.T: ok 第27课第2部分 2操练 (1)教师呈现对话(请一学生回答问题)。A:Oh, pardon. (对着另一学生)Dont you think xxx is speaking too quietly?B: Yes, I do. Let me ask him to speak louder.(2)27课第3部分,二人一组进行类似对话操练(3)编对话,给学生一、二分钟时间准备,然后表演对话。四、奇思妙想。1、教师拿出事先准备好的奇思妙想题目,请学生发挥想象,动手制作。2、学生提出各种奇
14、思妙想方案,由学生课后尝试。五、家庭作业1、完成练习册27课练习2、完成奇思妙想内容。教学建议:有关26课的一条系列“Why”开头的问题可以不拘一格,让学生大胆进行提问和回答。在“奇思妙想”环节里提倡学生用英语表达。Lesson28教学目标和要求:熟练掌握和运用不定式,准确运用healthily、clearly、safely、 beautifully等副词。了解疑问词+不定式的正确用法。教学重点和难点:在真实或半真实交际环境中运用不定式教学用具:录音机等教学步骤:一、复习检查家庭作业,请几位学生上台讲述自己课前准备好的奇思妙想运作过程。二、听力练习册28课。听录音、完成练习听力材料(略)参考答

16、一段对话,用以上所给不定式短语和副词。4、要求几位学生演出其中一段对话。四、读、演1、第28课第3部分。听录音,要求学生回答:Why did Tina ask Ann to speak more clearly?(Its not a very good line.)Whats wrong with Anns radio?(Hers is broken)2、两人一组朗读并表演对话五、诗朗颂.Never give up.1、解释其中生词及诗意2、教师范读,学生齐读,个别学生有表情朗读。六、家庭作业完成练习册28课练习复习本单元内容。教学建议:学生在写对话时,教师应该环绕教室,不时走动,可以随时给学
17、生纠正错误,提供帮助。诗朗颂时可选一曲合适的音乐配乐。教案 Lesson 29教学目标和要求:学生能正确运用不定式;能正确运用词汇decorate、put up、angel、circle;能掌握smell nice, help decorate的用法。教学难点:不定式做主语 To be here at Christmas time is a dream 教学用具:收录机、图片、实物、幻灯机。教学步骤:一、复习导入 What festival are we going to talk about? Yes, Christmas. What do people often say on Chris
18、tmas Day?板书 Merry Christmas! 教学merry. Do you know something about it? Do you want to know something more ?二、语言输入:1、出示教学幻灯片,教师问: What can you see in the picture? Where can people get the Christmas trees?(At the farm. In the shop,etc.) Cutting down the Christmas trees at the farm is a lot of fun, isnt
19、 it? What is Jim doing?(He is decorating the tree.) What about Lin Tao? (He is helping Jim. He is helping decorate the tree.) How do they decorate the tree?(They have to put up the lights and Christmas balls.And they also put an angel at the top of the tree.) How does Lin Tao help?(Circle the lights
20、 around the tree until they have put lights on the whole tree.) 通过问答教学decorate 、put up、angel、circle。 三、读、演:1、 第29课,第一部分录音磁带:要求学生听并且回答:Where is Lin Tao? What does the tree look like when they finish decorating it? 2、 两人一组朗读并表演对话。抽2-3组班前表演,看谁能不看书进行表演。.四、问答第29课,第二部分两人一组问答操练。教师巡回指导。五、看图写话: 合上课本,再次看图,要求学
21、生根据第一部分对话信息,写一篇短文,看谁写得又快又好.六、家庭作业:1、 完成练习册第29课练习。2、 搜集有关圣诞节的图片、资料。教学建议1、为了加深学生印象,达到更好效果,教师可以带一个小天使(angel)到课堂上。2、为了开拓学生视野,了解更多,教师可以鼓励学生上网查询有关圣诞节的资料。3、 练习看图写话时,最好推选1-2名学生上黑板演示,完成后当堂批改打分,同时朗读部分较好的习作,学生们跃跃欲试,既培养了写作的兴趣,又提高了写作的能力。板书设计(略)教案 Lesson 30教学目标和要求:利用挂图 形象呈现内容,引导学生理解文章,培养阅读兴趣、提高阅读能力.能正确运用词汇stockin
22、g 、 kind-hearted 、greet、 Eve;能掌握as well、 base on 、even though的用法。教学难点:如何理解、巩固所学知识, 并用于语言实践中。教学步骤:一、 复习1、检查核对家庭作业。2、要求学生有表情流利地表演第29课对话。二 问答: 1、 What holiday is your favorite? Why?鼓励学生回答 Why。. 资源共享.(谈谈你对圣诞节的了解 )。 2、 Do you celebrate Christmas? If so, What do you do? 二、 讨论:What do the people in the wes
