So someone said with no lack of truth that one third of science history has been the history of combating such fallacies. Few examples are so effective! For pla

7、giarism and fabrication are so easy and doing research is so difficult and sometimes takes grueling years with no result. And we have heard so much about a certain persistent case where the researcher did 999 tests with nothing coming up and was about to give up when he stumbled on the discovery. Sc

8、ientific research is indeed a preserve of the few who are persistent and arduous. Nothing short of heroic deeds can be of any help. And certain part of populace is devoid of these qualities and of course takes the least resistant path either taking others works for their own or concocting facts. Soo

9、n it becomes a social trend unwittingly and is hard to reverse.researcher does not do experiments and plagiarizes others research results, then what would happen? There would be no intellectual honesty and people would no longer believe what the scientists say. Since scientists are noble elites of s

13、ncial disparity will definitely affect friendship. Indeed, “Birds of a feather flock together.” Unfortunately, this notion of friendship cannot always apply. The possible truth is that, in a harmonious universe, birds of different feathers can and should be flying together. Genuine friendship does n

14、ot assume the commonly held view that financial equality can nurture a harmonious relationship between friends. Karl Marx and Engels, two great German thinkers, have provided an undisputable example in this regard. They came from totally different families, the former being financially disadvantaged

15、 while the latter being a son of wealthy capitalist. However, unlike table friends who might value various material comforts, they developed genuine friendship that helped refuel the two great minds. Together, they contributed to the treasure of human thoughts that has exerted the greatest impact on

16、 the course of history. Their example is educational in that their life-long friendship shows, unmistakably, that money counts least in true friendship. world. But for my part, true friendship does prevail. With lasting friendship, friends can go far both in life and career. A notable Chinese book n

17、amed Three Kingdoms renders a typical case in point. LiuBei, Guanu and Zhangei were sworn brothers. Their friendship was formed long before they were successful. They clung to their friendship no matter what befell them. With permanent friendship the three lived a meaningful life. With abiding frien

18、dship they built a prosperous kingdom called Su. Ever since then, their friendship has become a legend. Of course, no one could deny the fact that in seeking friendship, one has some personal concerns like enjoying the company of friends, wining and dining, etc. But the best way to perpetuate good f

19、riendship is certainly to make it productive. During the Chinese Cultural Revolution, my uncle met some intellectuals, who suffered from political persecution and lived in sheer poverty. Rather than look down upon or shun them, my uncle treated them as equal and made them his life-long friends. Together they started their own business when China
