3、Pre-class(课前)1、翻译下列短语：(1)一场大暴风雨 _(2) 把，放到窗户上边 （3）确保_(4) 重重地敲打窗户_(5)打牌 （6）一团糟_(7)睡着 （8）醒来 （9）把，打碎 _(10)把，紧密地聚在一起  2、知识超市：（1）realize作及物动词，有“认识到”“领悟到”等含义，此时通常不用于被动式和进行式。realize可表示“使(希望、目的、恐惧等)实现”。（2）mess的相关词组 be in a mess 乱七八糟  get into a mess 陷入困境，遇到麻烦 make a mess of

4、 把弄糟  mess （v） up 搞乱，弄脏，弄糟（3）介词against的用法要特别注意against是介词,不是动词,可表示多种含义,其用法如下：A)表示“反对”、“违背”之意.如：They are strongly against the idea.他们强烈反对这个意见.Are you for or against my plan?对于我的计划你是赞成还是反对?What have you done is against the law.你所做的事情是违法的.Jane married Jack against her own will.简与杰克结婚

5、,违背了自己的意愿.B)表示“撞击”、“碰着”之意.如：The rain was beating the windows.雨点拍打着窗户.Tom hit his head against a tree in the dark.黑暗中汤姆的头撞在一棵树上.C)表示“倚在”、“紧靠”之意.如：Place the ladder against the wall.把梯子靠在墙上.D)表示“逆着”的意思.如：We are sailing against the wind.(with the wind表示“顺风”)我们的船正在逆风行驶.E)表示“衬托”、“相映”、“对照”之意.如：Red flags st
