2、ng,这就给学生带来一些困惑,比如说,工作、生活中的 Longping是怎么样的?现在的 Longping怎么样?他的科学贡献获得了那些荣誉?如果以“ Longping”为话题,开展群文阅读,增加一些相关材料,就可以帮助学生更加深刻地了解 Longping,清楚地知道 Longping精神是什么?我们可以从他身上学到什么?补充阅读人教版必修四Unit2 Reading :A Pioneer for All People,本文更加细致地介绍了 Longping是一位甘于平淡,淡泊名利,热爱生活,兴趣广泛,对工作兢兢业业,吃苦耐劳,认真负责的科学家。通过阅读与袁隆平相关的两篇文章,学生能够更深入地

3、了解袁隆平的自传,外貌,性格,成就和梦想。【Why】文本意图两篇文本的价值取向在于学生通过对文本的学习,体会到袁隆平在水稻种植领域所作出的贡献以及作为杰出科学家坚持不懈献身科学研究的高贵品质。【How】文体特征两篇文本都是一篇介绍性文章,The Student Who Asked Questions本篇主要介绍了袁隆平在水稻种植领域的地位,发明杂家水稻的原因,过程以及所取得的成就,而对袁隆平的个人信息涉及少。A Pioneer for All People则比较详细地介绍了袁隆平的个人信息,比如说外貌,性格,梦想等,两篇文章组合,学生能更全面了解袁隆平,更清楚地认识如何向袁隆平学习。. 学情分

4、析本次授课对象为高二7班的学生。他们对科学家袁隆平相关话题有好奇心,求知欲和表达欲。但文本语言相对较难,有关话题的相关专业词汇较多,学生在理解基本信息的过程中会有一定障碍。除此之外,让学生阅读两篇袁隆平相关文章之后,了解袁隆平的个人信息,描述袁隆平的性格特征的基础上,让学生体验情感并尝试实践运用,如何向袁隆平学习,也有较大的难度。III. 教学目标及教学重难点(一)教学目标基于对文本内容和学生情况的分析,教师预设了以下目标。学生阅读两篇袁隆平相关文章之后,学生能够:了解袁隆平的个人信息,卓越贡献,性格特征;2.认识袁隆平成功的秘诀;3.体验情感并尝试实践运用,向袁隆平学习。(二)重难点:在主题

9、国家发明特等奖,2023年被授予共和国勋章,他被国际上誉为“杂交水稻之父”生活简朴,不计名利简短评价自拟标题。100词左右。 To help Ss consolidate what they have learned today.13 Passage 2 A Pioneer for All People Although he is one of Chinas most famous scientists, Yuan Longping considers himself a farmer, for he works the land to do his research. Indeed, hi

10、s sunburnt face and arms and his slim, strong body are just like those of millions of Chinese farmers, for whom he has struggled for the past five decades. Dr Yuan Longping grows what is called super hybrid rice. In 1974, he became the first agricultural pioneer in the world to grow rice that has a

11、high output. This special strain of rice makes it possible to produce one-third more of the crop in the same fields. Now more than 60% of the rice produced in China each year is from this hybrid strain. Born into a poor farmers family in 1930, Dr Yuan graduated from Southwest Agricultural College in

12、 1953. Since then, finding ways to grow more rice has been his life goal. As a young man, he saw the great need for increasing the rice output. At that time, hunger was a disturbing problem in many parts of the countryside. Dr Yuan searched for a way to increase rice harvests without expanding the a

13、rea of the fields. In 1950, Chinese farmers could produce only fifty million tons of rice. In a recent harvest, however, nearly two hundred million tons of rice was produced. These increased harvests mean that 22% of the worlds people are fed from just 7% of the farmland in China. Dr Yuan is now cir

14、culating his knowledge in India, Vietnam and many other less developed countries to increase their rice harvests. Thanks to his research, the UN has more tools in the battle to rid the world of hunger. Using his hybrid rice, farmers are producing harvests twice as large as before. Dr Yuan is quite s

15、atisfied with his life. However, he doesnt care about being famous. He feels it gives him less freedom to do his research. He would much rather keep time for his hobbies. He enjoys listening to violin music, playing mah-jong, swimming and reading. Spending money on himself or leading a comfortable l

16、ife also means very little to him. Indeed, he believes that a person with too much money has more rather than fewer troubles. He therefore gives millions of yuan to equip others for their research in agriculture. Just dreaming for things, however, costs nothing. Long ago Dr yuan had a dream about ri

17、ce plants as tall as sorghum. Each ear of rice was as big as an ear of corn and each grain of rice was as huge as a peanut. Dr Yuan awoke from his dream with the hope of producing a kind of rice that could feed more people. Now, many years later, Dr Yuan has another dream: to export his rice so that

18、 it can be grown around the globe.
