3、动词+副词”型短语,含义丰富常见用法如下:二次备课接电话捡起;拾起整理;收拾意外发现;学到;获得搭载客人;驾车去接(某 人);在中途搭载 remind 提醒The phone rang but he didnt pick up.电话铃响了,但他没有接电话。You should pick up the paper.你应该把纸捡起来。Lets pick up the living room.让我们一起来收拾一下客厅吧。Looking through the evening paper last night, I pick up a wonderful poem.昨晚在浏览晚报时,我意外发现了一首好

4、诗。 Shall I pick you up at the station?我去车站接你好吗?(1)remind sb to do sth 意为“提醒某人做某事”,动词不定式所表示的动作 尚未发生。eg. Please remind me to post these letters.(2)remind sb of意为“是某人想起.”有时也接介词 about,意为“提醒某人想起关于某事”eg. The film reminded me of my school life.If I forget, please remind me about it.如果我忘了,请提醒我。(3)remind sb.

5、+ 从句,意为“提醒某人”。eg. Please remind me that I should bring him a present for his birthday. marry 用作及物动词,意为“嫁;娶;与结婚”。常用于以下结构中: (1)marry sb. 意为“和某人结婚;嫁给某人”(2)marryto意为“将嫁给”拓展:(1)get married 意为“结婚”;(2)be/get married to 意为“和结婚” (3)marry 和 get married 都是非延续性动词,不能与表示一段时间的状语连用,如果表示结婚一段时间,应该用 be married。 have t

6、rouble doing sth. 意为“做某事有困难”,相当于 have difficulty doing sth.。trouble, difficulty 前可以用 some, much, little, no 等修饰。eg. I had no difficulty making myself understood.我毫不费力地表达了我自己的想法。拓展: (1)have a difficult time (in) doing sth. 意为“做某事很困难”其中的 difficult 可以换成 hard;(2)have some problems doing sth. 意为“做某事遇到麻烦”

7、。此句型 也可以表示“做某事有困难”。用法和前面的句型同义。 when 和 while(1)when 既可以指某一点时间,也可以指某一段时间,其从句谓语动词表 示的动作既可以是瞬间性的、非延续性的,又可以是延续性的,可与主句中的 谓语动词同时发生,也可以在其后发生。如:I was just reading a book when she came into my room.她走进我的房间时,我 正在看书。(2)while 指一段时间,从句中的谓语动词必须是延续性的,而且也只能与 主句中的谓语动词同时发生或存在。即:指一段时间时,when 可用 while 代替; 指瞬间时间时,when 不能用

8、 while 来代替。如:While Jim was mending his bike, Lin Tao came to see him.(3)when 和 while 的区别还在于:while 引导的时间状语从句多用进行时态, 而 when 引导的时间状语从句多用一般时态。如:While they were talking, the bell rang.= They were talking when the bell rang. 【活学活用】1. I beat John at chess yesterday. voice, sound 和 noise(1)voice 侧重于人的声音(说话、唱歌),有时也指鸟鸣声。表示不同种 类的声音时为不可数名词。如:She has a sweet voice.(2)sound 表示能听见的声音。如:Sound travels fast, but light travels faster. (3)noise 指“不和谐、不

17、悦耳”的噪音。如:Dont make any noise in thereading room. as soon as “一就”,引导的从句常用一般现在时,主句用将来时。e.g. Ill visit you as soon as I come back. unless “如果不,除非”,它可以转化为“ifnot”结构。e.g. He wont finish the work unless he works hard. sothat“如此以至于”,引导结果状语从句,so 后侧重于强调形容 词或副词。e.g. She is so tired that she cant go any further
