Buildacompleteindustrialchainandacross-departmental(industrial)third-partyinformationservicesystemtosupportRFIDtechnologyapplications.Promotethescientific,innovativeandsustainabledevelopmentofRFIDindustryandapplicationinChina.Inordertoimprovethecity'smodernmanagementandservicelevel,tofacilitatepeople'slife,andmakenewcontributionstoconstructaharmonioussociety.Figure1-38RFIDconstructsthelivingenvironmentofhighqualitynetworksocietyFoodCarsIntelligenthomeFirstaidGovernmentservicesApplicationscenarioOnething,oneIDInternetofthingsDevelopmentdirectionofRFIDapplication01Nowadays,therearestillsomekeyproblemswaitingtobesolvedinRFIDapplication,including:1.CostProblemCostaffectstheexpansionspeedofRFID.TheUnitedStatesclaimsthatthetargetpriceforelectronictagsis5cents,andJapanisalsoworkingtowardsthattarget.ImprovingthemanufacturingprocessandmarketscaleisthekeytoreducingthepriceofRFID.ProblemsfacedbyRFIDtechnology022.SignalInterferenceProblemRFIDismainlybasedontheprincipleofradiowavetransmission,whenradiowavesencountermetalorliquid,signaltransmissionwillproduceinterferenceandattenuation,andthenaffectthereliabilityandaccuracyofdatareading.Insomespecialcircumstances,suchastheRFIDtagsattachedtothedrinksinaluminumcans,orcomputermetalshell,willencounterthiskindofproblem.ProblemsfacedbyRFIDtechnology023.FrequencyBandControlProblemAtpresent,therangeofelectromagneticwavecontrolbandsvariesfromcountrytocountry.EspeciallyinUHFandmicrowavebands,theopenfrequencyvariesfromeachother,whichcausesmanyproblemsintheapplicationofRFIDinmultinational.RFIDequipmentmanufacturersaremovingtowardsprovidingmulti-bandfunctionalitytosolvethisproblem,butthiswillincreaseequipmentcosts,whichisnotconducivetoapplicationpromotion.ProblemsfacedbyRFIDtechnology024.InternationalStandardizationAtpresent,theformulationbodiesofRFIDtechnologyandstandardsincludeEPCglobalandISO,inwhichEPCglobalformulatedEPC(ElectronicProductCode)standard,usingUHFband.ISOhasformulatedISO14443A/B,ISO15693andISO18000standards,theformertwousing13.56MHz,thelatteroneusing860.930MHz.IntheUHFbandofmajorapplications,therewillinevitablybeabattlebetweenthetwostandards.Atthesametime,duetothedifferentopenfrequencybands,especiallyUHFband,theUnitedStatesis902.938MHz,Europeis868MHz,Japanis950.956MHz,andothercountrieshavedifferentfrequencybands.ThedifferentstandardsandfrequencieswillleadtolowerinteroperabilitybetweenRFIDreaderandtag,whichwillaffecttheaccuracy,thusitisdifficulttoapplyuniformly.ProblemsfacedbyRFIDtechnology025.PrivacyIssuesRFIDhasthefunctionoftrackingitems,especiallyintheuseofconsumergoods.Whenconsumersbuycommoditiesinsupermarkets,theRFIDinformationofcommoditiesisdeliberatelycollectedbyothers,whichmayviolatetheprivacyrightofothers.ThisproblemmakesalotofuncertainapplicationsofRFID,andrequiresthecompetent
