译：管信系的源发管理信息系统的历史不长到现在为止对其系统研究只有四十几年的时间为一个新兴学科，它的发展历程大致经历了以下几个阶段：管理信息系统（ManagementInformationSystems,）词最早出现在六十年代，美国明尼苏达大学管理学院G.B.Davis教率领他的同仁们开始了管理信息系统领域的深入研究。管理信息系统的出现，给日后的管理工作带来了革命性的变化，那时人们根本想象不到今天的管理信息统在所有组织的经营活动中的地位和作用。随着科学技术、特别是计算机技术的飞速发展，管理息系统这一学科不断完善，以至于在当今激烈的市场竞争中占有相当重要的地位。信息的使用不是现代社会的专利。妇幼皆知的三国时期诸葛亮“草船借箭文、地理信息妙的典范。这样的例子古今中外，比比皆是，只不过那时对信息的理解远不及今天对信息的理解在信息的处理技术、方法和手段方面也是无法比拟的。任何学科的发展都与当时的社会的、经济的、技术的环境和条件紧密相联。管理信息系统也是一样，在人类进入工业社会以后，出于对生存与发展的需要，人们开始尝试使用更先进的设备技术处理和使用信息。世纪19世初，卡片穿孔机的问世，人们感到信息处理的革命时代已经到来，这是计算机出现之前信息处理的飞跃。进入50年，人类发明了计算机，尽管那时的计算机与我们今天的计算机无法相比，但人们还是看到了它在信息处理方面的发展潜力有条件的开始尝试利用它来辅助人们管理自己的业务用计算机代替人工处理大量的数据天看来管信息系统就是从这时开始真正走进人们的生活。称得上管理信息系统最早、应用效果最好的系统应该是EDP即我们现在称之为电子数据处理系统（ElectronicData一使用到九十年代，直到INTERNET普及后才逐渐退出台。年代期，人们开始认到随着工业化社会的发展，生产规模和领域不断扩大，生产自化水平的不断提高，生产和流通量与日俱增，使得与生产有关的信息成倍膨胀，因而管理工作也越来越复杂。对信息的处理要求及时、准确是所有组织共同的期望。于是1954年美国的通用电气司使用计算机进行了最早的计算机工资计算和成本会计计算是理信息系统的早期形态EDP的代表作国是使用计算机进数据处理的先驱年末在美国近三千台的计算机中80％用于数据处理工作，其应用范围非常广泛，包括各种各样的大型企业、服务业、事业机构等等美国航空公司的SABRE预订票系就是这个时期EDP型代表，是比前面的工资和成本会计系统先进的系统，这个系统能分配美国任一航空公司、任一航线、任一航班的飞机座位。它设1008个约点，分配76000个位，能存取600000个旅飞行记录，但它不能告诉人们进一步的详细信息仍属于管理信息系统的初级阶段。尽管如此，计算机在数据处理方面的应用，极大地推动了计机硬件和软件的发展进推动了个计算机产业的发展界上第一个数据处理语言(CommonBusinessOrientedLanguage)就在这一时期诞生的。从60年代70年，这是管理息系统发展最重要的时期。在近二十年的时间里，管理信息系统无论从理论方面，还是从实践方面都取得了基础性的成果。以实时处理系统为代表的管理息系统开始形成和应用，这类系统的基本特征是针对一定范围的信息内容进行较为综合的数据处，能适时地提供信息，对于图像、文字、声音、图表等信息，均可采用文件或文本方式进行信息录入、处理、与传输70年，美国为代表的西方发达国家对管理信息系统开始了大规模研究与应用，随着研究的不断深入，人们对其不仅期望在数据处理方面有量的突破，而且更期望在质的面，即在信息的全面管理方面有新的内容个全面而庞大的生产状态信息报告系统COPICS由IBM公

研制成功，这个系统包括设计和生产数据管理子系统、用户订货子系统、预测子系统、主生产划于系统、成本及会计子系统、库存管理子系统以及制造活动计划子系统等于多个子系统，分布企业的各个部门，实时收集信息，提供决策与管理数据。我国80年的大多数应用系统基本上属于此类，这类软件基本上实现了管理信息系统的基本思想。这一时期由于管理信息系统的初步应，将计算机和管理活动紧密结合，使得整个企业形成了一个高度计算机化、高度信息化的组织，大地改善了企业的运作效率，提高了工作质量。不过人们还只是初步认识到计算机在管理中的作，只是看到了计算机的速度，没有体会到管理信息系统的真正内涵。于是，学者们一方面针对管信息系统在实践中的问题进行进一步的研究，另一方面又开始了理论方面的探索。管理信息系统基本理论和基本概念多是在70年代后期形成的，特别是决策支持系统DSS）开发与应用，开了新的天地。人们认为，计算机在管理方面新的应用模式，应注重对决策的支持，因而管理信系统的发展方向应一种能够对组织的决策者提供决策信息支持的有友好的用户界面的系统。决策支持系统的思想很快得到了学术界的重视并得以快速发展，这正是管理信息系统的精髓，种思想还在支撑着今天的管理信息系统。进入80年，计算机软硬件技术开始了它的高速发展时期。由于有了技术的保障，许多以前只能想不能做的事情都可以很容易实现。人类不仅仅进入了无纸化管理年代，而且也开始进入了人工智能为基础的管理年代，人们开始研究将人工智能理论应用于企业管理以及与决策支持系统结合等，用于管理的专家系统也开始出现。这类系统除了提供给用户巨大的模型库之外，还提供专家系统的推理结构和知识库编辑工具户可使用系统中的知识库和推理机构对决策问题进行推理，得到有关的结论年代后期继出现了高层主管信息系Information，EIS）和战略信息系统（InformationSystems，SIS者际
