OutdoorAirPollution

Smogisatypeoflarge-scaleoutdoorpollution.Itiscausedbychemicalreactionsbetweenpollutantsderivedfromdifferentsources,primarilyautomobileexhaustandindustrialemissions.Citiesareoftencentersofthesetypesofactivities,andmanysufferfromtheeffectsofsmog,especiallyduringthewarmmonthsoftheyear.AdditionalinformationaboutsmoganditseffectsareavailablefromtheAirQualityManagementDistrict(AQMD)insouthernCalifornia.
