AIDSiscausedbyHIVvirus.Nowintheworldthereisnousefulmedicinethatcancure

maturegrowth.BeforethesixteenthofOctober1995,Iwasthemostcarefreepersoninthe

world.Ihadnoworriesandwasjustlivinglifeup.Ineverthoughtthatanythingcould

happentomeormyfriends.Wewereinvincible.Thatis,untilthewordAIDScameintomy

life.

2.For10yearsDavidandIwerethebestoffriends.Thenwegottohighschoolandthings

startedtochange.Wewereindifferentclasses,sowedidn'thangoutasmuch.Itbotheredme

butIthoughtthatwewerebothjustgrowingup,andthereweremorefriendswherehecame

from.ThenIbegantonoticethathewasn'tinschoolalot,andwassickmorethanusual.SoI
