Edisonencouragedhimtokeepworkingonhisplansforhishorselesscarriage,poweredbyamotor.
Ford'shorselesscarriagewascalledtheQuadricycle(四轮环保车).
HesoldtheQuadricycleandstartedhisowncompanytocontinuehisworkmakingvehicles.He
didnotstaywiththefirstcompanyforverymanyyears,butfinallystartedtheFordMotorCompany.
Hespentmanyyearsdevelopingcars,whichweremadeonlyafewatatime.
Fordwasnotthefirstpersontocreateacar,buthewastheonewhobegantomakethem
accessible(可使用的)toalotofpeopleintheUnitedStates.His“ModelT”car,released(发布)in
