Theteamgatheredmorethan300samplesofairbornemicroplasticsfrom11sitesacrossthewestemUS.These

Theresearchersenlargedtheirmodelingworktoagloballevelandthissuggestedthatwhileroadsarealsolikelyto

bethemaindriverofairborneplasticsinEurope,SouthAmericaandAustralia,plasticparticlesblownupfromfields

maybeamuchbiggerfactorinAfricaandAsia.
