【辨析】not...any

more与not...any

longernot...any

more相当于no

more,主要用来表示数量和程度上的“不再”,常修饰短暂性动词,指某个动作不再重复发生not...any

longer相当于no

longer,主要用来表示时间和距离上的“不再”,暗含对现在情况和过去情况的比较,表示某个动作或状态不再延续

例如:

注意:no

more和no

longer一般放在行为动词之前,be动词、情态动词之后或直接放在句末。2.In

beginning,

in

the

beginning是固定短语,意为“一开始,起初”,相当于at

first。beginning在此用作名词,意为“开始,起初”。例如:

one只能指人,不能指物,其后不能与of连用作主语时,谓语动词只能用单数形式。no
