could和can都情态动词,表示说话人的主观看法或语气。它没有人称和数的变化,也不能单独在句子中做谓

语,但它可以与其后的不带to的动词不定式一起构成复合谓语。

Lean表示能力,常被译成“能,会”。过去式could,表示过去的能力。否定形式couldn^o

2.表示请求或许可,常被用来请求对方的许可,或表示说话人自己的许可。

3.情态动词could构成的问句用于委婉地向对方提出请求或征求对方的许可,语气比can委婉,但不表示过

去,答语没有固定形式,符合语境即可。

“.”;若不同意请求可以说.”。

②.委婉地请求别人允许自己做某事可用“CouldIdo...?”提问,被提问方若同意,可以说“
