thathasintellectual-propertylawyersabuzztheU.S.courtofAppealsforthefederalcircuitsaidit

suggeststhatiftheycanjustfindandinfluencetheinfluentials,thoseselectedpeoplewilldomostof
theworkforthem.Thetheoryalsoseemstoexplainthesuddenandunexpectedpopularityofcertain
looks,brands,orneighborhoods.Inmanysuchcases,acursorysearchforcausesfindsthatsome

interactwiththatmanyothers.Yetitispreciselythesenon-celebrityinfluentialswho,accordingto
thetwo-step-flowtheory,aresupposedtodrivesocialepidemicsbyinfluencingtheirfriendsand

compromised.And,unlessbankscarrytoxicassetsatpricesthatattractbuyers,revivingthebanking

(FASB)rushedthroughrulechanges.Thesegavebanksmorefreedomtousemodelstovalueilliquid
