infrastructureandsmartconnectedvehicles,and17national-leveldemonstrationbasetotestintelligentconnected

cars.

MiaoChangxing,anofficialfromtheMinistryofIndustryandInformation,saidonTuesdayinBeijingthat

over2,000roadtestanddemonstrationapplicationlicenseshavebeenissuedand10.000kilometersroadopenedto

testdriverlessvehicles.

Newoutputvalueoftheintelligentconnectedvehicleindustryv/illreach1.06trillionyuan(about$151billion)

by2025,and2.8trillionyuan(about$398.5billion)by2030,saidZhengJihu,directoroftheCICV.

Zhengaddedthatdevelopingtheindustrytakesaverycomplicatedprocess,whichrequirestheintegratedand

coordinatedadvanceofvehicles,roadsideinfrastructure,cloudcontrolplatforms,teleconimunicacionnetworks,

mapsfbrhigh-precisionpositioningandsecurityprotectionsystems.
