analyzingtheirfootprints.TheresearchteamfromDukeUniversity'sNicholasSchoolofthe

Environmentfocusedoncapturingandanalyzingthesedifferences,trainingacomputermodel

torecognizewhichfootprintsbelongedtowhichspecies.Bytreatingfootprintidentification

likeadigitaltrackingproblem,thescientistsaimedtoreplaceinvasive(侵入的)andexpensive

monitoringmethodswithafasterandmorepracticalalternative.
