一、基本概念

不定式（to+动词原形）在句中可作状语，修饰动词，表示行为的目的、结果、原因等。

二、主要用法

1.目的状语（最常用）

表示“为了...”，可以放在句首或句末。为了强调，也可用inorderto或soasto（soasto

不能放句首）。

结构：todo/inordertodo/soastodo

例句：

Hegotupearlytocatchthefirstbus.（他早起是为了赶上第一班车。）

Topasstheexam,hestudiedveryhard.（为了通过考试，他学习非常努力。）

Sheworkedhardinordertosupportherfamily.（她努力工作是为了养家。）

表示意想不到的结果，常与only,never连用，或用于enoughto,too...to结构中c

onlytodo：表示出乎意料的结果

Hehurriedtothestation,onlytofindthetrainhadleft.（他匆忙赶到车站，结果发现火车

已经开了。）

enoughtodo：足够...能做....

Theboyisoldenoughtogotoschool.（这个男孩够大了,可以上学了°）

too...todo：太...而不能....

Sheistooyoungtogotoschool.（她太小了，不能上学。）

such...asto/so...asto：如此...以至于....

Hewassokindastohelpme.（他如此好心以至于帮助了我。）

3.原因状语

常用于形容词之后，说明产生某种情绪的原因。常见的形容词有：happy,glad,sorry,sad,

surprised,disappointed,excited,pleased,proud,lucky,fortunate,clever,foolish等。

结构：形容词+todo

例句：

I'mgladtoseeyou.（见到你很高兴。）

Shewassurprisedtohearthenews.（听到这个消息她很惊讶。）

Heisluckytohavesuchagoodjob.（他很幸运有这样一个好工作。）

第二部分：不定式作宾语补足语

一、基本概念

不定式作宾语补足语（宾补）是对宾语的补充说明，与宾语有逻辑上的主谓关系。结构为：

动词+宾语

+todoo

二、主要用法

1.带to的不定式作宾补

常用动i司有：want,ask,tell,invite,force,get,allow,wish,expect,encourage,advise,persuade,

permit,order,warn,cause,remind,teach,wouldlike等。

结构：动词+宾语+todo

例句：

Mymotherwantsmetodrinkmilkeveryday.（我妈妈想让我每天喝牛奶°）

Theteachertoldustobequiet.（老师告诉我们安静。）

Headvisedmenottosmoke.（他建议我不要抽烟。）（否定式在to前加not）

2.不带to的不定式作宾补（省略to）

在感官动词和使役动词后，不定式作宾补要省略tOo

感官动词：see,hear,watch,notice,feel,observe,lookat,listento

Isawhimcrossthestreet.（我看见他过了马路。）（强调全过程）

Sheheardsomeonesinginthenextroom.（她听见有人在隔壁唱歌。）

使役动词:make,let,have

3.help后的不定式

help后面的不定式可以带to,也可以不带to。

例句：

4.被动语态中还原to

当感官动词和使役动词用于被动语态时，原来省略的不定式符号to必须还原。

例句:

Hewasseentocrossthestreet.（有人看见他过了马路。）
