togetherinweeks.Amyspokequietlyaboutjoblosses,andothersabouthardships.Yet,inthathall,there

waswarmthrestored.

steppedin.Thefathersaidtheyhadsimplyheardthroughwordofmouththatachurchwasgivingout

foodanddecidedtocome.Clearly,theywerenotonourlist.Iapproachedthemandexplainedthatwe

wereunabletoprovidesuppliestodayforanextrafamilyduetolimitedresources.IfeltsosorryasI

lookedatthefamily,hopingtheywouldunderstandthedifficultcircumstances.Themanrespondedwith

anawkwardsmile,saying,“Oh,nevermind.Wejustcametoseeifanythingwasavailable.Thankyou

anyway.”
