consumedbymillionsworldwide.
Themovetozcro-plasticportshasalonghistoiyintheEU.Asearlyas2018,theEu'sSingle-UsePlastics
Directivebanned(禁止)commonsingle-useplasticitemslikestrawsandcutlery,layingthegroundworkforthenew
initiative.Overthepastsevenyears,pilotportsintheNetherlandsandSpainhavesuccessfullyreducedplasticwaste
by65%throughreusablepackagingsystems,waste-to-energyrecyclingprograms,andcommunity-ledclean-up
