单元主题分析

木单元紧扣“太空探索”这一核心主题,与新课标中“人与自然”主题范畴下的“地球

与宇宙探秘,航天事业发展”子主题高度契合。其核心旨在引导学牛.认识人类探索太空的动

因、面临的挑战与未来的可能性,从而全面深入地回答单元大问题“Whatdoesittaketoexplore

space?”,从而培养学生的科学素养、全球视野与创新思维,激发其对宇宙的探索好奇心。

SectionA的引导性问题是“Whydowcexplorespace?”。该部分以听说读结合的形式展

开主题学习,从谈论中国航天工程、宇航员的太空生活切入,再通过访谈解读人类探索太空的

三大核心动因。学生将在学习过程中掌握太空相关话题的英语表达,习得一般将来时被动语

态,理解太空探索的科学价值与现实意义,为解答人类探索太空的“动因”奠定认知基珊。

SectionB的引导性问题是“Howfarcanwegointospace?”。该部分从理论探讨走向未来

畅想,以深度阅读为载体,引导学生探究当卜人类太空旅行的极限、星际探索面临的重重挑

战,以及未来实现星际旅行的可能性;再通过写作任务让学生抒写个人“太空梦想”,学习按

“提出梦想-阐述原因一表达期许”的结构组织思路、完成表达。

总而言之,本单元以“理解探索动因一探究当下局限一畅想未来可能”为主线,巧妙融合
