33、re at the enemy. The sentence contains two clues to the meaning of “fire”. First, fire is a verb. Second, the sentence talks about war; the word “officer,” “soldiers” and “enema,help you to understand this.,Guessing Meanings of Words from Context (II),Here are two more types of context clues: Clues

34、of word association e.g. The officer ordered the soldiers to fire at the enemy. You can immediately eliminate the choice red-hot flames since it is a noun referring to a blaze. Although the choice to let someone go from a job is a verb answer, it refers to business, and has no logical connection wit
