After your discussion, the chairperson is expected to make a brief summary to the whole class on the pros and cons of living in the city and in the country.,Part COral Activities: Gossiping,Have the students sit in a circle or a line. Whisper a phrase or sentence rapidly to one
17、 student. He/she then whispers what has heard to the person on his/her right or behind. This student repeats what has been heard to the third student, and so on around the circle or along the line. When the phrase or sentence reaches the last student, he/she says aloud the phrase or sentence. You ma
18、y be surprised to see how much the phrase or sentence changed as it went around the group. You can now begin a new game by having another person think of a new phrase or sentence. Remember to stress that when the utterance is passed from one person to another, it must be said rapidly and ONLY ONCE.,
