8、od or sexual fluid has to get inside the body through broken skin or by injection.其中through broken skin or by injection是由or连接的两个并列状语. 在For a person to become infected这个状语中,to become infected是后置定语。 2)翻译:携带病毒的血液或体液必须通过皮肤上的创口或通过注射才能进入人体,使人受感染。,3. It is only when the disease has progressed to AIDS that

(教材P22) 只有当这种病毒发展成艾滋病时,人才会显出病态。 解析:“It is/was被强调部分that/who”用来引导强调句,其特点就是当把这个强调结构去掉后,剩下的部分在语法结构和句子含义上仍然是一个完整的句子。强调句可强调句子的主语、宾语和状语,但不能强调谓语动词、表语或补语(形容词或名词充当)。如: It was Mr.Johnson that/who left all his money to his wife in 1840.
