2、show examples of the on-top status and diagnostic displays or faceplates for both digital and analog 1738 I/O modules. This file will contain all of the required files needed for configuring the 1738 I/O faceplates in your a

7、pplication.Logix Configuration1)Open existing Logix file with RSLogix 5000For distributed I/O, ensure that the Communications adapter local to the controller has already been configured in the RSLogix 5000 I/O configuration.a.Right click on the local Communications adapter and select “New Module” to

8、 add the appropriate network adapter.3b.Select the appropriate adapter module for the distributed I/O you are using (i.e. 1738-AENT).c.Give the new Adapter module a name, a description and enter the correct chassis size. For a 1738-AENT set the IP address.4d.Right click the Adapter (i.e. 1738-AENT)

9、module for the intended ArmorPoint I/O and select “New Module”. Then select the appropriate ArmorPoint I/O module.e.Enter a distinct module name and description.f.Repeat steps 2d-2e for all ArmorPoint I/O modules.RSView SE Configuration1) Open your existing RSView SE application that you wish to add

10、 the ArmorPoint I/O faceplate to.2) Add the appropriate “SE_1738-Ixx_Faceplate.gfx” or “SE_1738-Oxx_Faceplate.gfx” file to your displays5a.Right-click on Displays, and select “Add Component Into Application”. Browse to the SE_1738_Digital&Analog_Faceplate_Files folder and select the faceplate GFX fi

11、le that matches the module you wish to create a faceplate for.3)Add the faceplate parameter file “SE_1738_Parameter.par” to your RSView SE application.a.Right-click on Parameters, and select “Add component to application”. Browse to the SE_1738_Digital&Analog_Faceplate_Files folder and select the “S

12、E_1738_Parameter.par” file. Then click the Open button.b.Now open the parameter file that you just added and edit the “parameter tagname” to match your application. The “parameter tagname” needs to include the RSLinx Enterprise “Device Shortcut” name of your systems controller and the Logix “tagname

13、” of the intended ArmorPoint I/O module to monitor.6i. Double-click on the faceplate parameter file, and edit the “Device Shortcut” name, (in this example it is CLX-L43) to match the Logix controller that was previously configured in your RSLinx Enterprise Communication Setup.#1=:CLX-L43Network_Adap

Enter the desired Logix “tagname” of the intended Point I/O module to monitor.(For modules that are distributed, this tag name will be the name of the I/O adapter followed by a “:” and the slot location of the module, ie., Network_Adapter:1.) 15、r:1To add parameter files for additional Point I/O modules, simply repeat steps 3a and 3b above, creating a unique parameter name and assigning the associated “Device Shortcut” and Logix “tag name” for each module.7Example: #1=CLX-L43Network_Adapter_2:1 (“Network_Adapter_2” represents another unique

16、 name for an I/O adapter on the network and “:1” represents the module in slot 1.)4)Create the display navigation to open the ArmorPoint I/O Faceplates at runtime.a.On a desired graphic display, create a new button object.b.Double-click on the button object to display its properties and configure th

17、e Action tab. Click onthe browse (i.e. ellipses,) button beside the Press Action field to launch the Command Wizard.c.Select the Display command and click Next.8d.Use the browse buttons, drop down menus and the Parameter File checkbox to select the appropriate area, display and parameter file name and click Finish.e.The Display command syntax has now been configured and inserted into the Press Action field.f.C
