广州大学 2013 年英语专业招收本科插班生 翻译考试大纲 一、性质与目的 本考试属于英汉翻译能力测试，旨在检测考生是否达到基础阶段教学大纲 所规定的专项能力要求，考查学生掌握翻译基本知识和技巧、熟悉英汉两种语 言基本特点的情况，以及运用翻译理论知识和技巧解释双语现象的能力和实际 汉英互译的能力。考试执行教育部颁发的高等学校英语专业基础阶段教学大 纲和外国语学院制定的英语专业本科教学大纲的标准。 本考试的目的是从普通高校专科毕业生中挑选优秀者插入本科三年级学习。 二、考试内容与要求 1、考试内容 1）英汉互译常用的方法和技巧，包括词义的选择、词类的转换、词的增 减；重复法、语序调整、正反译法、拆译法、缩译法、被动式的翻译、长句的 翻译等。 2）英汉两种语言与文化的差异知识； 2、考试基本要求 1) 熟悉基本的翻译理论知识和技巧，并能在初级英汉/汉英翻译中恰当地 运用； 能够运用英汉、汉英翻译的基本方法与技巧，以每小时 250300 词的翻 译速度，翻译英/汉报刊杂志上有关政治、经济、历史、文化等方面的一般性 论述及一般性文学作品节录； 在翻译中正确转达原文所包含的中国和英语国家的文化内涵； 2 译文基本忠实原文的事实和细节。 三、考试形式及试卷结构 1、考试形式 闭卷笔试，考试时间为 120 分钟，试卷满分为 100 分。 2、试卷结构 试卷分为两个部分：第一部分为翻译技巧的运用，第二部分为短文翻译。 题型和分值分配如下： 题号 题型 分值 I 翻译技巧的运用（英汉互 译） 20 分 II 短文翻译（英汉互译） 80 分 题型示例 Part I: Multiple Choice (2x10=20%) This part consists of five English sentences and five Chinese sentences, each followed by four different versions marked A, B, C and D.
