Without whose help I wouldnt make much progress on my English study and also my work. Some days ago I got the highest honor in our school. I was one of the ten excellent teachers. When hearing the good news I was rather excited. I think it cant be separated with the three years studying. During that period of time I majored many subjects like Writing English, Daily English, English In the Changing World and many other specialized courses. They enhance my knowledge give me energy and the most important bring a new prelude to my life. In the spring of 2001, I was enrolled here. I had a simple aim at first. I wanted to get a certificate. But without any awareness, my aim was changed little by little. I understand it is more important to gain the knowledge than that small card. The knowledge and the experiences which I gained here direct me how to do my work better. So I want to say everyone here “Knowledge is power”. I still remember my first term here. One of the teachers gave me deep impression. We called him Mr. Crick. He was a foreigner. He taught us English In Current Affairs. His class was vivid and interesting. Every time I learned more not only from the text but also out of it. We usually had discussions in class. He valued our opinions. We also respected him. You know most of us have to work on weekdays. So there are contradictions between work and study. Although work must come first, study is also very important. When I was busy at weekend, I always insisted in making up all the missed lessons after work. Apart from my hard working, all the leaders and the teachers give us much help. We have the beautiful new building modern equipments. The net laboratories are opened freely. We have homework on the internet. The teachers give us help and solve our problems on the internet, too. The English corner is monthly held. We have many new ways to study. The school also provides us many chances. We can study whenever we want. There are many excellent teachers here. Our English department director Miss Ni is young beautiful and full of knowledge. She is like our sister. When we are in trouble, we always ask her for help. Every time she does her best to help us. When I did my education thesis, Mrs. Wu gave me many directions and opinions. So my thesis was passed at last. This year I graduated here successfully. I also got high marks in each course. If I had a chance to choose one more time, I would choose it again. For I have some reasons. First of all, it has long history. It is full of experiences of training and teaching students. Secondly it provides us many new ways to study even though we are busy just like I have said just now. Thirdly I graduate here I love it. And also it fosters my ability to study by myself.
