Unit 1 part A 教案Teaching aims:1 Knowledge aims: a. Students are able to listen, say and read four new words: garden, playground, teachers office, library. b. Students are able to understand and use the sentences “Where is the library? Its on the first floor.”2 Ability aims: a. Students are able to understand and react to simple instructions, such as Go to the garden. Water the flowers. b. Students are able to use four new words in real life.3 Affect aims: a. Students are able to enjoying introducing their school in English. b. Students are expected to love their school.Key points: a. Students are able to master the four new words. b. Students are able to master the five phrases, such as Water the flowers.Read a story-book.Eat some noodles.Difficult points: a. Students are able to pronounce the phrases correctly and fluently. b. Students are able to distinguish the differences between cardinal and ordinal numbers.Teaching aids: Computer-aided instruction, teaching cards of the five new words, video, picture of places in school. Teaching procedure:Step1: Warming upGreetings and free-talkingT: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, teacher. T: Welcome back to school. Nice to see you again. S: Nice to see you, too.T: How are you today?S: T: Im so happy to hear that you are fine. Look, Whats in the classroom? S: (A board, two lights, many desks and chairs)T: Well done! Do you think our classroom is beautiful?S: Step2: Lead-inOn the basis of step1, teacher will point at the classroom and ask students:T: How many classrooms are there in our school? S: T: Do you like our school? S: T: What else can you see in the school? Look! This is a map of our schoolI can see a library.S: Step 3: Presentation and drillingPresenting the new wordsIn this part, five new words will be introduced by many beautiful pictures and teaching cards.T: What can you see in the library? S: I can see many books.T: Yes. We can read some story-books in the library. Do you like our library? S: Yes.T:Where is the canteen? Its on the first floor.(emphasize “the first floor”)Learn new word: garden, playground, teachers office(in the same way)Practice the new words and phrases What is missing?Each show four picture phrases images, then let students close their eyes, extraction of a picture. Through reading phrases and guess again.Step 4: Listening, Speaking, acting and playinga. Listening to the tape(Lets do) In this part, Teacher will ask students to take out textbook and turn to page 4, listen to the tape and observe pictures carefully.b.
