Please refer to units 6-10 of Practical Business Project Design for guidance and support to this assignment. The information in brackets indicate the specific unit you can refer to. There are SIX parts in this assignment.Part One Data Collection/Appendices (Unit 6Activity 2)DIRECTIONS FOR STUDENTS:In your online courseware, two categories of forms/methods are introduced to collect primary data: l Observation and logsl Surveys and interviewsPlease present the types of forms you plan to use to collect data in this project, which are going to be attached as appendices in your BA degree paper. You should give a title to each of the form, such as “Focus Group Discussion Outline”, “Training Evaluation Form” and “Questionnaire”. You should describe your findings with the support of necessary graphs, charts, tables, etc. This important part will later on be presented in your BA degree paper under the heading such as “Data Presentation” or “Project Findings”.Write your text under the following blank space according to the above areas. (Suggested length: no fewer than 800 words.)Part Two Data Presentation 1. 1 Findings of the projectWhen compared with employees training results before and after, I have collected some data from the balance sheet of JHMIC with the GMs permission. As is shown in the under table, sales from August has been steady increased, but in October sales and profits have rapid declined because of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. Although the the sales revenues have affected in October by the long vacation, the total sales revenues, company profit growth , and operating costsfrom August to October have raised, respectively 7.22%, 9.39% and 15.41%. Whilst the operating expenses compared with the plan implementing before and after, it has lowered 0.85%. Staffs were not satisfied with the previous company system, motivation mechanism was not made. At the same time, they were lacking of proficiency job skills, responsibilities, team spirit, and enthusiasm. All these reasons led to sales expenses maintained a high level and sales profits declined for a long time. To provide a well-designed training program will be a good solution in dealing with the previous problem.2.2 Records of the project implementationAccording to the project implementing as shown above, i.e. The questionnaires, the project framwork, and meeting records, which recorded the activities I had taken from the beginning to the end of the project. In addition to this, customers feedback help the activity a lot.2.3 Datas of the implementation of projectBy further analyzing the data, I would like to figure out the comparative results as showed in detail from under chart 1 and chart 2. Chart 1: Comparison of sales revenues and after-tax profits( RMB in thousands )The bar chart compares the total of sales revenues and after-tax profits from May to July and August to October in 2012. The general trend of sales revenues and after-tax profits both run into same directions, all are rising as listed above. The rise in September reached at the highest record 995.15. The fall for October, because of meeting a long vacation. During 7 days vacation, the sales revenue got nothing and it was a bad news for the company to increase the sales revenues. However, from August to October, a rise is seen in sales revenues with steady. In terms of after-tax profits, the figure is witnessed rising in August, September, and October, respectively 70.44, 81.30, and 50.64.The reasons why the sales revenues are increasing that we found a sales employee through internal recruitment. On the other hand, we invited our provider M companys sales manager to train us products knowledge, sales skills. We brought a wonderful concept into our daily work, that is all-staff marketing. We demanded all of our employees should familiar the whole working process and the products name, so that everyone can provide the basic solution to meet the customers needs. Chart 2: Comparison of operating costs and operating expenses( RMB in thousands )Chart 2 compares two periods total of operating costs and operating expenses from May to July and August to October in 2012. Though the total of operating expenses decreased by 0.85% was not so obvious, it still affected by the training program from May to July and August to October. At the same time, the total of operating costs has increased, since the sales revenues are increasing, so its nature that the operating costs follows it. We may know that, even if a same product it has different prices in changing world, they are short of providing, material increasing, etc. In this part of training program, we trained the employees the consciousness of self cost management. We are using many ways to cut down the operating expenses in our daily work, such as recycle the paper, turn off power when unnecessary, lower the errors in working, order or deal with job online via e-mail, QQ, and MSN to replace phone call, etc. One more thing import that we are trying to control making mistakes in logistic part, every product comes out of the warehouse should be checked by two persons. Instead of simply restating your results, you should draw inferences about their implications for business in general. This important part will later on be presented in your BA degree paper under the heading like “Discussion”.Write your text under the following blank space according to the above areas. (Suggested length: no fewer than 500 words.)Discussion and Conclusion 1 Discussion Oxford Management Review said, Every company is pursuing maximize the profits, but how to reach at it, there are varies views in commercial industry. For our small-scale company, we have to solve this problem in concerning every subtle aspect. Considering our hypothesis that if we can provide a good training program we will increasing sales revenues and cut down the operating expenses, we will not only see a well -trained employee team but also make profits reach at 15% by the end of Oct, 2012. The results prove that the project hypothesis is applicable, and the project has achieved its objectives to increase profits by 15%. In addition to the fact we had fulfilled our project, there is no denying the fact that we are still facing challenges and crisis in the coming months of sales, there are coming up wiht new findings:1.1 Pros1) It is clear that successive training will perform a good expansion in our daily working. We plan to make more questionnaires in the future to trace the employees behavior and customer needs and wants.2) Sales reveues may show the increase rate of our performance, so that we need to pay more attention to improve sales revenues.3) Expenses influence will definitely be lasting in our daily job.4) More profits are good for companys forseeable future.1.2 Cons1) The suitable sales person doesnt recruit at all, not ensuring the later sales performance.2) Reaction from the cometitors could be fierce.3) Employees performance are need continuously development.From above results discussion, we know that there might be some sales decrease after we stop training. Jack Welch once said that every company wanted to win in competition, it must try to make the employees respect-work. No matter how outstanding your plan has been designed, you had to find the right person to finish the job. I admitted that employees have played a major role in the whole project. From a long-term perspective, we need to plan a schedule of selecting right person, personal training, utilizing talents, and retention of talents. However, we would like the training program meets the demands not only for current employees, but also for the future employees. 2 ConclusionThrough describing the company background, industry environment, the SWOT analysis, and the data analysis, it showed that my project result and the planned objective have reached consensus. The training program implememting has tackled employees problems lacking of proficiency job skills, responsibilities, team spirit, and enthusiasm. At last, we improved our quality of service and management standards, so that we enhanced the companys core competence. We recruited an internal employee as a saler helping to increase sales revenues, improved job efficiency and lowered the operating expenses led to profits. Whilst the competitors of the same industry also adopt the same development implementing tactics. Therefore, we need to strengthen the strategic implementing and improving enforcement, strengthen the companys core competence continuously.
