摘要 本论文以安德烈勒菲弗尔的翻译的三个制约因素为理论依据，以美国女作家玛格 丽特米切尔( m a r g a r e tm i t c h e l l ) 1 9 3 6 年在美国出版的小说g o n ew i t hf p 胁d 的两个 中译本为例，来谈不同时期的文化因素对翻译策略选择的影响。论文所参考的英文原著 是2 0 0 4 年由上海世界图书出版公司发行的未经改动的英文全文本。两个中译本一是傅 东华先生的飘，此译本是原著最早的中文译本，于1 9 4 0 年由国华编译社出版，1 9 7 9 年由浙江人民出版社再版发行。另一个译本是陈良廷等九人在1 9 9 0 年出版的乱世佳 人。 这两个译本出版的时间相距较远，其中相隔的5 0 年是中国文化巨变的时期。根据 文化翻译观，译入语的文化背景会直接影响译者在翻译策略上的选择，因此这两个中译 本能够提供文化翻译研究的典型例证。本文从两个译本中抽取一些翻译实例，进行翻译 策略的比较并通过分析两个译本所处时期的主流诗学，意识形态和赞助人等因素的差异 来说明两个译本采用不同翻译策略的原因。本论文涉及了人名，地名，文化习俗及宗教 术语的翻译、读者及赞助人对译者的影响等一些具体问题。 本文的结论是：翻译行为不能离开社会语境进行，一定会受到所处的社会文化因素 影响。由于社会文化因素的易变性，不同的时期在对同一文本进行翻译时也译者会顺应 当时的主流诗学和主流意识形态而采用不同的翻译策略。最后，本文还对现阶段的意识 形态对翻译行为可能会引起的一些不良现象提出警告 关键词：文化翻译论、诗学、意识形态、赞助人、飘、乱世佳人 a b s t r a c t t h i st h e s i
