使读者更容易理解诗人试图传达的含义，使读者透过外在的表象深入到诗歌的内 在结构从而获得更深层的意义。诗人往往通过a 就是b 这种隐喻模式给人以惊奇， 引起读者关注，促使读者思考、发挥他们的想象，并且激起他们的各种情感，或 怒或喜。正是因为隐喻的运用，一首诗才显得意义深刻，充满魅力和趣味。 另一方面，由于隐喻通常用指某物的词或词组来指代他物，一个隐喻包含两 件事物的名称和事物各自包含的意义，而每个词都具有多层的意义，这对诗的理 解造成了定的困难，诗人频繁借助隐喻表达思想，使诗变得复杂。文章通过探 讨诗歌与隐喻的关系，隐喻在诗歌中的功能，说明了理解隐喻是理解整首诗歌的 关键，阐释了传统的隐喻理解往往是建立在寻求喻体与本体的相似性，侧重于隐 喻在诗歌中产生的效果和美化作用，忽略了隐喻的产生过程和读者理解隐喻的认 知过程，并指出理解隐喻的过程实质上是大脑思维的过程。近年来，认知语言学 理论不断地被运用到文学领域，特别是以f r e e m a n 为首掀起的“认知诗学” ( c o g n i t i r ep o e t i c s ) ，把新的认知策略运用于诗歌中，如把l a k o f f 与j o h n s o n 提出的概念隐喻理论( c o n c e p t u a lm e t a p h o rt h e o r y ) 和f a u c o n n i e r 与t u r n e r 在此基础 二提出的概念整合理论或概念交织理论( c o n c e p t u a li n t e g r a t i o no r c o n c e p t u a lb l e n d i n g ) 运用于诗歌隐喻的释义，这种跨学科的研究拓展了我们 的思维。本文试图在l a k o f
