硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st 脏s i s 内容摘要 作为幽默的主要表现形式，幽默语言在我们的生活中很常见。它源于生活 又高于生活，因此常会以生活中的会话形式出现。这就使它带有鲜明的语用特 征。在关于语用学的各种书籍中，我们经常可以见到以会话式幽默为例的语用 分析，可见幽默与语用学有着很密切的关系。优秀的幽默语言总是具有一种或 几种语用特征。过去有一些分析幽默所产生的语用效果或所具有的语用特征的 论文，但它们主要都是分析幽默语言对合作原则的某些准则的违反，在谈到幽 默中所运用的修辞手段时也仅仅只提到反语，夸张，双关等。不仅分析的对象 很有局限性而且内容多有重复。同样，在一些介绍幽默语言的书籍中也会提到 其语用特征，但也都只是针对语用学某个方面来谈的。 本文以会话形式的英语幽默为例，对幽默所具有的各种语用特征进行了较 详细的分析研究。文章首先介绍了幽默的定义、分类，并对幽默的特点及其在 我们日常生活中的作用进行了分析，由此总结出从语用的角度来分析幽默语言 特别是会话式幽默的必要性及科学性。随后，文章对语用学及其研究的各个方 面做了概括性的介绍，重点介绍了会话含义学说及其核心一合作原则。虽然现 在语用学界对合作原则提出了很多异议，但是合作原则提出了较为详细的准 则，使对会话的分析更有据可依。所以相对而言，对于分析会话式幽默中的幽 默效果是如何产生的，合作原则仍然不失为一神最有效的语用原则。此外，通 过前面对幽默总的介绍、分析，文章也总结出了幽默语言的变异性，这也是本 文要着重强调的。而各种修辞手段和其它一些语言手段在幽默中的运用恰恰很 好地体现了幽默语言的这一大共性。基于这些原因，文章的主体部分主要是分 析英语鳕默中会话含义学说的体现。文中详细列举了英语幽默中所运用的各种 故意违反合作原则的修辞手段以及其他一些语言手段，并对由此产生的幽默效 果进行了分析。违反质的准则的有反语、暗喻、夸张、修辞问句等，违反态度 原则的有似非而是的隽语、仿拟、双关、委婉语等。而且本文并没有局限于分 析英语幽默对合作原则的违反，对会话含义学说的几个特点在英语幽默中的体 硕士学位论文 m a s t e r s1 h e s i s 现也一一进行了举例说明。 作为对以前在此方面分析的局限性的弥补，本文还对英语幽默中所体现出 的其他语用特征即谱用学研究盼其他方面，如指示语、预设、礼貌原则、关联 理论等都也进行了一定的分析。其中还分析了合作原则与礼貌原则的关系，合 作原则与关联原理的差异在英语幽默中的体现。在文章最后还分析了文化差异 所造成的跨文化交际的语用失误以及由此所产生的幽默效果。
